Video Games

Zodd42,

Your perception is very good, I like the way you analyze all the energies, the intention of these games is not to create killers, they do not want that, it is exactly what you say, to desensitize emotions, there are not many that agree with my theory on the whole agenda, but I have always believed that they do what they do to get your soul.

Interesting about the people you know who are in the army, maybe these games might have triggered the separation of the conscious minds, but it is all the vaccinations that they receive each year that brings out that ‘sniper’, when people go into any armed forces they are carefully selected, there is usually at least 3 officers attending, one is a profiler and body language expert, and each person is analyzed for their ability to separate emotions and the mind, as it is very important to be able to do this.

If I play any computer game too much whether it is text based or graphic - the game always intrudes into my dreams.

Why would you think that happens?

It is probably due to the depth of mental involvement and my over active imagination :)When I switch off, my mind doesn't and keeps on trying to figure out the next step of the game. Sometimes the dreams use the games to point out issues I might be having.

Well Askilla, you have just solved your own problem! Your reply tells me that the games you play provide clues to your mind pattern. Are you really a Gemini? If so what you describe is a very common issue that Gemini’s have, over stimulation of the logic/perception versus the knowing. Going by what you are saying, when you are challenged by an issue, you over analyze it, rather than letting the universal flow of energy allow it to be what it is going to be.

Try playing these games without over thinking the next level or challenge, try using the game to your advantage and ‘brain train’ yourself to flow. The moment you get upset or frustrated, turn it off. You control it rather than the other way around.

Well I'm no Gemini, but I have had this happening to me for many years whether I am playing The Sims2 or WOW. My 'mind' doesn't seem to like to shut off.

DT,

This is a human characteristic, you know curiosity killed the … or what we have we want more, we want the answers and so on, But sometimes we are not ready for the answers, but we still push for them.

I do not think there is anything wrong with playing any games, my children play them somtimes, including the Sims, but I have always tried to teach them when the game begins activating you or triggering your personality, walk away, it is a good lesson in life because it reflects the ability to walk away from real life situations, it is about control and I think that this is the basic lesson we all need to learn, analyze and control, take care of the now and not later when we are in the deep end!

And by the way you have Gemini in Venus!!

Alot my life experience has taught me to go with the flow :) I'd have no hair left otherwise ;)

Games help me to escape usually so I don't think about what is going on, though the issues themselves is being thought through sub-consciously.

I have to do the same as you Astrojewels in regards to games and my child - if he has played too long and I tell him to stop, the reaction is angry and upset. I find it worrying that it affects him that way - games can be so addictive!

I am a gemini :)

Yes this is a worry, but I have to say my daughter is very good and knows there is a limit; usually with time, she very rarely becomes upset and I rarely have to tell her to stop, but that was not always the case. The older she gets the more she understands, and there is even some games she will not play, she says ‘they are to programming’ I don’t know if she understands exactly what that means, but she does understand the emotional imbalance of what these games can do!

Found this pretty funny vid about Super Mario Bros 3.

In all seriousness though the game at least has some freemasonic symbols like the black/white checked floor, the two pillars, and the sun.
