I'd love to hear what everyone's favorite crystal is, and how they use them. I have a tough time limiting myself, so I have a tie. My favorite crystals are amethyst and clear quartz.
Clear quartz for it's sheer versatility. It can be programmed for any use, clears out negative energy wherever it's placed, and generally raises the vibration all around it.
Amethyst because of it's ability to connect people to divine energies, and it's ability to purify a person's emotional structure.
What about you? Do you have a favorite stone?

I like most all crystals. I think I would be hard pressed to pick just one favorite. Each one has its purpose, and to me, they are all beautiful.

ive had experience with quite a few crystals but i have to say i like moldavite best :) its just amazing! i also have a phantom crystal which works wonders :P

I really like your website - especially because of the way you dispense with the hocus pocus around energy healing.
I have many favorite crystals. It's hard to pick one. It is easier to pick a favorite region. Mine would be crystals from Brazil. Some of my current favorites are the many variations of quartz, citrine, tourmalines, peridot, sugilite, kyanite,obsidian,garnet, malachite, bloodstone, rhodochrosite, morganite, and angelite.

I like your avatar. Nice colors and energy. I have so many crystals it's silly, but I do have a favorite. It's a double Isis-point terminated smoky Tibetan Quartz. Very feminine and soothing. It called to me from four trays underneath others and all the way across the store!
Given your moniker, do you do healing energy work?

Itââ¬â¢s never silly to have too many, and I donââ¬â¢t think you can have too many! If that were the case then I am way past silly, my house is full, I am actually running out of places to put them, and to choose a favorite, wow that is so hard they are like your babies, how do you do that. I also love clear quartz and have a real tendency towards rose quartz, and yes as Spiritvoyager says location; that one would be Australian Mookaite, it is just so powerfully attractive. I recently bought a blue calcite sphere and it is just so beautiful, everyone that sees it wants to touch it, and it is always warm, never seen or felt a sphere like it, it also can not decide where it wants to call home in my place, I have to keep moving it around, it keeps telling me that it is bored in that spot, so that is also something different.

Ooooh. A blue calcite sphere. That sounds juicy astrojewels. I have a clear calcite sphere that I love. It has a special spot in the living room where I can play with it all the time.
Randomrainbow: moldavite is one of my favorite's too. I got a piece about three years ago. Powerful energy! I've done some work with it in combination with zincite and was amazed at the transformation in my life. Truly life-altering.
Gertrudarose: I've been doing energy healing for about twelve years. I started off on myself, friends, and my honey. Now my husband and I both do energy healing. We set up at new age festivals and my husband has a space where he meets with clients.

My favorite is a softball sized piece of 'fishtail' or "angel wing" selenite. It feels so soothing to hold. It looks like angel's wings.
