Why milk is bad for you

Milk is a mammal product. Do you see tiny chicks sucking on their mother's titties?

It to the point now that anything promoted as healthy in the media I instantly veer away from. I just saw actor Angie Harmon and her kids shooting a milk commercial and said to myself "I gotta stop drinking milk".

Having been born and raised on a farm I can tell you that chickens will eat  just about anything ,including each other. Yes even free range chickens.I believe this is where  the term "pecking order" originated. To this day my brother will not touch chicken or turkey meat.

While milking cows chickens(including the baby  peeps) will drink any drippings.

After one of my aunts was born in the late '40's   my grandmother became ill and couldn't nurse her.  Had it not been for raw cow's milk and goat's milk the baby would have died.

The milk was from  grass fed cows and before all the injected hormones etc.

We were told that some native peoples raised deer for meat and milk  long before the Euorpeans arrived.

So true MN, chickens will eat anything! But pigs are surely the worst animal anyone can consume. There is no food that is totally organic, yet feeding your family on products that are raw, this meaning not from a packet is the safest way to ensure you bypass the chemical synthetic additives, but you still get the chemtrails and the chemical treated water!

Why kind of legislation do you have in the US when it comes to packaging foods or displays in your supermarket? Do they tell you place of origin? And are all your foods labeled with all ingredients?

YEP! Pigs will eat absolutely anything. At least chickens draw the line at  "too tough" .:?

Re labeling of foods:  Yes they have to have the the place of origin of fruits and vegetables and the ingredients have to be listed on processed and packaged foods.

BTW..I'm not advocating the drinking of milk or raw milk.Babies should drink the milk of their own species IMO unless conditions prohibit.

I personally wouldn't drink raw milk unless I was sure of the conditions in which the cow was raised, kept, pastured and milked.

I'm not a milk drinker anyway . But  I eat cheese and yogurt etc.

Milk does thicken phlegm in the body .

That is good for most MN, but how do you educate a society into reading the ingredients!  ans knowing what it means....

I know. Husband and others  have no patience for me reading ingredients. I can take forever in the grocery .  I have to though as I'm very intolerant of msg ,some food colorings and other food additives.

But then I'm allergic to avocados too:(.

I always retort  it's your responsibility to know what you're ingesting as much as possible.

Yes I totally agree, but people blindly trust food companies and I also read carefully, but I rarely buy anything in a packet, allergic to avo’s, I have only heard this once before, I love them, what do they do to you? I have a very low tolerance of preservatives also, but I have created this in my mind pattern as a reminder that my body does not digest it so don’t eat it.

I have a latex allergy. Avocados are in that family. I will break out in hives.

I consume very little packaged  food but husband figure is another story. So I have to read the  ingredients  because he won't.:X He knows better .

Speaking of  food....my son just arrived with  gleanings from our secret morel mushroom patch.:)
