Wizard of Oz -- Tim man
#1
The Wicked Witch is a sorceress, Toto is a shape-shifter, and Oz sure doesn't look like Kansas in the SCI FI Channel's 'Tin Man.'

Who all is gonna watch this?  Raise your hand!

Sorry, but not I.  I got up and left the room last month when Dorothy was knocked unconscious onto her bed as the bedroom window came out of the wall and hit her during the tornado.  That was enough for me.  :-)

I plan on watching it. I think it will be interesting to see what the new version is like. Cool

I've already got our DVR set up to tape it in case we miss it.

Even if I had access I wouldn't watch it.I've never even seen the full movie of the original version. I read the book but when the movie was aired when I was a kid I thought it was the freakiest thing from the get go.Perhaps due to the fact that I had been in a tornado. Who knows?

I know, Sily.  That is one movie I will never be able to watch again.  It was an integral part of my childhood programming and still bothers me.

William, I didn't mean to rain on your parade.  :-(

Well, that movie is just one of many.  I have a long list of musical groups and movies and tv shows I refuse to watch.  All I gotta say is thank god for freedom of choice.

Honestly when I was younger I always avoided watching wizard of oz because it felt long and dragged on. But eventually at school a substitute teacher who was from another school forced us to watch the wizard of oz and take notes on it, so I had to focus very hard. I still remember some scenes clearly because younger I had photographic memory. I'm freaked out by the thought that it has programming.

In our family as I was growing up, we had to watch The Wizard of Oz every year at Thanksgiving - that's when it seemed to always come on - and whomever's house we were at at the time was where we had to watch it.
