Im not satisfied with my employment.....thats because i don't have one. I've been on a disability pension since 2001 and im ready to go back to work, but yeah, I want to do something I enjoy, all the best on your ventures mate

To people who say they only work to get money while they know their work is actually damaging the world, I ask them; if money is so important  for you, so then why don't you deal in cocaine or weapons now ?

I think that you have point and given that I do consulting/advisory work perhaps I am on th right path - I did take a pay cut to move into this job which is better than the last.

I studied Astrology for a couple of years and at one time wanted to make a career of it -  I was thinking of doing 'Financial Astrology'.  I think that you are right in that having a portfolio approach to a career i.e. more than one job or hobby/interest that defines you career is the way to go.  One job can pay the bills the other can give you satisfaction!

Perhaps one day I should get you to do my chart!

Craig, we are brain trained (programmed) from a very young age that work is an evil necessity, which structures survival mentality with our reward (pay day) usually being handed over for debts and bills, it really is a cycle that one gets stuck in! The illusion is that you must be ‘slave like’ to some horrible person who gets off messing with you because they are above you in the hierarchy of your workplace.

I do not consider my work to be hobbies, all my jobs provide great satisfaction in different ways, I can not make a living from astrology, I like to keep my prices affordable, and they take time.

Work should be a reflection of ‘you’ not the other way around; it should never control you, no paid job should ever become your life! If one wants to change the ‘ideals’ of their perception, then it should begin at home, because the most important job is your position in life- husband, father, son, brother, friend?

I dont know about psychic jobs but i've studied this work thing. Ok in the ancient world all you really had to do was poke holes in the ground and pump water well and watch over your livestock. But with a good fence and an hour or so a day pumping water into your field you'd be free to do whatever you want, write, play, swim. You could also hunt and fish instead of taking care of the live stock. However in modern times with electricity being the second most abundant resource beside water and water being the most abundant by the way you have to pay for these most abundant resourses, big drag huh. I don't get it. Why can't the water and electricity be free. If it was then all you would have to do is poke some holes with a bamboo every 90 or so days for the crops hook up an electric pump from the water hole and feed the cattle and we'd have it made. You wouldn't need money except for things you want, and thats how i think it should be. You shouldn't have to pay for things you need however i understand that the people who didn't want to take care of their own food would be forking out a fortune for it but other than that what do we need money for. Call it an egotarian simplistic society call it paradise, it would be utopian in its existence. We could spend our time building because we want something more beautifully architechtural than building something cheap because the supplies have to fuel those who make them. Come on the next most valuable resource is dirt. You ever see how much more architechtural ancient buildings look compared to our cheap rectangles and what are they built out of, compacted dirt.

Because it takes large equipment and uninteresting labor to acquire electricity. Labor people want to be paid or no one would do it for free. The large equipment also runs down and require expensive maintenance.

Because the population has got too large, we need technology to artificially increase the yield of crops and harvest, deliver them to the groceries, and sell them. In each step, there is a lot of uninteresting labor people expect to be paid for. If we farm ourselves, there would be a lack of land AND crops. Even if we live in the rurals, space will run out. This is a fact.

And because dirt tents are unsanitary and unstable. The carving of wood, etc all require the labor of logging trees, manufacturing wood, advertising the services, transporting them to a repair house, blueprints prepared by an architector, and built by workers. Paint also has a similar process, it requiring chemical industries, repacking, advertising, transporting, and selling, for example. Dirt tents might be cheap and simple, but they are not sufficient for people's higher standards of living.

I agree specialisation is what allows for indusrial progress. The issue that I have is that I am forced to participate in "work" when I would do not want or need any of the products or benefits from this industrialisation if I did not have to live in this system.  Because I have to work against my will for "created needs" I am effectively a slave.  I would perfer to be able to build my own log cabin, collect my own water, collect berries etc. Food, shelter, water etc once had no commercial value and were free for all since, however since all this industrialisation has taken place we are now expected to pay for it. This does not suit me -  I want to be free to live not to work!

i like my job and love where i live. my job doesnt pay much, but im my own boss, i get free rent and live in a low stress environment and mountain rainforest paradise. i get free organic foods, herbs, wine and health care products and sell some of it on the side. i just started doing some personal training and life coach teaching on the side. i have been lifting weights and working out for years and that worked out nicely with little effort. people were inspired by my good habits and ripped physical body, and offered me money to show them how to do what i do.

how could i turn that down? everything seems to be falling into place for me. finally.

do what you love, go where you feel, be intense, confident and persist until you succeed.

then do it, and sell some of the berries on the side. it's easy money nowadays, people are more informed they want good food. sell it to them, show them the health benefits of eating berries, what vitamins, nutrients antidioxidants they contain and how they're beneficial for your body, mind and soul. show them evidence of how horrible gm herb/pesticide are for you, and pull out a big pail of fresh colorfull bag of organic berries. instant sale. that's a 75% guarantee sale, plus you feel good informing and helping people out.

punch his ass out, knock him flat out. tell him 'i quit'.

that will be that best thing you ever did.

prior to this, get some money together, then a job on a organic berry farm that provides you free organic food and shelter + valuable education.

from there things will come together, one day your boss will smoke a joint with you, you'll feel better then you have ever felt, you will understand infinite consciousness and you will prevail in spirit in mind.
