Worst Drought In 50 Years Hits US Farmers
#1
Severe drought hits US farmers (1 September 2006)

The United States government has allocated $780m in aid in response to a severe drought that is ravaging crops across the central United States and forcing farmers to sell off herds of cattle.

Low rainfall combined with extreme heat has led to severe water shortages in North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Montana and Wyoming, dried out corn and sunflower fields, and deprived cattle of pasture land.

The drought follows a recent report (see related story) that predicted worsening water shortages across a number of regions, including parts of the US.

Scientists from the University of Nebraska have called the drought the worst for 50 years. Summer temperatures climbed to the highest on record, with a thermometer reading at a meteorological station in North Dakota reaching 48 degrees C in mid-July.

Meanwhile, official figures for South Dakota indicate that winter wheat crops were 43% lower than normal, and alfalfa was expected to fall 35% below an average year's yield.

Corn crops were down also because temperatures had been too high for pollination to occur.

Many farmers transported cattle out of the drought-stricken area, despite high fuel prices, while others sold entire herds.

Some rainfall in August seemed to provide temporary relief but did nothing to alleviate the long-term water shortages, scientists said.

Michael Rounds, the governor of South Dakota, has asked the federal government to introduce a special "agricultural disaster status" across most of his state, and took the unusual step of asking citizens to pray for rain.

This is happening world wide, where I live there is a big lake, about 300,000 Megalitres, it was a place where people water skied, fished and camped, it was a summer location for many. It is now at 3.3% capacity, yes 96.7% empty! You can walk across it at some areas. We are on water restrictions level 9, they have had to create a new water supply for us, but we have to recycle our shower and laundry water for the garden, we get a sprinkle of rain maybe once a month.

What this does is take away our most important resource, water is essential to life, I and others have personally watched football field sized UFO’s fly over and sit above that lake, taking the water out, then the so called drought that we had to have gave excuses. Australia is already a vast dry land, a perfect location for reptiles!

This does show that we humans are terrible consumers and we waste so much of our most important resource, it is not until it is nearly gone that you realize how much you waste. Most people fear a ‘Take over’ but the greatest threat that we have is our own stupidity, most think it will never run dry as they watch their tap drip, drip, drip, and never think one day they will need all them drips. While you have the volume, take care of it, think how you are wasting it, and each time you do waste you are contributing to the NWO and their agenda, they need only very small amounts of water. The only way to battle them is to know the method behind their madness!

I’ve heard of UFO sucking water out of lakes before. Do you know what they are doing with the water?

I am not sure exactly, we do have our ideas on it but it is just theory. The only purpose is to dry us out, and you know when you think of it, we are creating our own destruction, because the general population really do not give a hoot about our resources or our eco system. It is so important that we take care of it.  It can be daunting to see those big craft cruise over, it feels surreal or like a science fiction movie. Drought creates fear in people, the main topic here is “what are we going to do, if it does not rain”? Everything they do is about fear, because when you begin to fear in just a general way, they can manipulate you more. I wonder if anyone else has noticed their water supply diminishing.

AstroJewels,

I have never witnessed a UFO that I recall. My daughter and a couple of her friends have however when they were camping out on bluff in back of our property. There have been numerous sightings in our area but then we aren't very far from Wright Patterson AFB so I'm thinking some sightings may be planes. The one my daughter and her friends saw was rather close @ 80 yds and emerged out of a pond. It didn't suck up any water that she recalls.Others in the area have also witnessed them emerging from ponds and lakes.

Mercy Now,

We have them everywhere, should think about having tours and making some spare cash, lol. Seriously, trying to recognize the difference of military or real UFO is the difficult thing. Stewart actually mentioned publicly what he seen while he stayed with us. Those big ones can be daunting, because I have thought about how big they must be on the inside. I am not afraid of them at all, or their agenda, because I know if they wanted to take us all out it would be done. My journey has always held questions to what they really want and/or what they want us to believe, this is two very different things. You should never fear tomorrow, or next week or ten years, you have to take care of now, this very present time, because it is what you do at this moment that will create those other moments to happen. Do not fear the unknown until you know why it was concealed in the first place.
