Your Images: I want to draw graphics.
#1
Someone called this 'Godbox' - I called it Goldbox but I can see how it could be called a 'Godbox'.

The software I used is the GNU freeware software Gimp: http://www.gimp.org/. I'm using version 2.2 on a Mac Powerbook.

a) create an image with a white background and Gold foreground color
b) All you do is create a box with using the box select tool (use the guides to make sure it's a perfect square) and color it gold using a color guide. http://www.computerhope.com/htmcolor.htm (found through Google). Create a second box in the center of the first that is white. (This lets you select the gold using color select and tool with it using the filters.)

I should point out, I have NO graphics training whatsoever. Anyone can do this. I do draw occasionally but it's all representional stuff, not geometrical shapes and technical drawings.

And, to the curious, yes, I used to be on Expansions.

I think it's pretty obvious after all these posts to those that know/met me the nick I posted as.

What is the function of this GodBox or GoldBox?

Well I can guess what it is by actually visualize it...:big grin:

Anyway...This archetype is one of the Angelic archetype, except that it's an Orange Box.

That gold box archetype is just an random example case of creating and uploading images that I happened to use last night at that moment.

The higher point for me is in the long haul it means you/anyone can actually create graphics at little cost of time and money and upload them easily to use as appropriate with no fuss/no muss.

For instance, for your DNA sequences or to even create to/from personal archetypes (where you get an archetype and temporarily correct the color to patch a problematic "Mind-pattern"). I wasn't advocating use of this particular image for anything special, it was a just an example  that struck me at the moment (the gold color was chosen simply because I like gold).

The suggestion isn't that it has a 'specific function' as the 'function' will vary depending on a lot of factors, including what you are interested in and what a given symbol means to you and the work you feel you need to do. (All symbols have a function - I don't care if they are actually in 'HH' or and not just because someone 'says' they have a function.)

The potential application run cases are endless as are the symbols.

There are no useless symbols.

I have a bunch of more practical ideas that I may or may not share as time allows but I think it's really up to the imagination and soul study of the individual to find applications of the tech.

As an aside, the 'box' is related to the Hebrew alphabet letter Bet, and relates to the word 'house'. Tennen calls this out as the most basic distinction we can make in consciousness: the distinction between inside/outside. The dot-in-a-box nomenclature is reminiscent of the use Bet with the dakesh.

Reference: http://www.meru.org/Press/Atlantisrising.html

"The alphabet links the inner world of the mind with the outer world of experience, just as our hands do," he says. "And," he continues, "The first letter of the book of Genesis -Bet- means 'house', something that distinguishes inside from outside; this is the most basic distinction you can make at any level of consciousness."

We're still guessing who you used to be at Expansions. Did it start with the letter M?

I won't confirm my prior nick because then I'd have to get rid of my email address and other things. I also know what a grapevine we have on the Net and due to certain individuals who shall remain nameless, I don't want any explicit ties, pleasant or otherwise, or acknowledgement/association one way or the other related to any sites past or present or in the future.

Not important anyway.

I think I should spend more time doing my real focus and less time on the Net on forums/lists/boards etc. anyway.

Sorry if this sounds terse. To me it's all water under the bridge.

As he said, I think it is pretty obvious under which nick he posted. Too bad he's no longer over there.

I hope that's a compliment but I'm not so sure. :orc1:

Hence, I'll take it as one!

For most of your threads where you used the obvious name, it is one.  But I am not so sure about the things you posted by using the A........ name :big grin:

You could have used a more harmonic exit though.
