can I practice this?
#1
Hey everyone. I get deja vu 5-6 times a day on average. Sometimes more, sometimes less.
It doesn't mean much to me anymore because it happens almost every day, but it's more of something that interests me because I can remember a dream in which I saw something happening. I can remember everything someone is about to say with a little extra added in from my dream. For example, I can have a dream about being in a car with someone talking, and they'll say something like, "So, do you know what this place looks like?" and the conversation will go on... It would end with, "There it is, pull over here." and my dream would become more "dream like" again.
A week to a few years (it varies) passes by and I'll be in the same situation. It will seem like a familiar place I'm in even if I've never been there, and sometimes I can even remember it from the dream. If I recognize the place I'm in I can usually remember what was said and done in the dream and most, if not all of what I remember actually happens.
I also always feel that I know what someone is about to say without it feeling like deja vu. It's sort of like I can jump to the correct conclusion of their sentence without them having to finish, and I'm rarely surprised by anyone because I can sense what they're about to say. Sometimes I'll be wrong and it will be something completely different, but this is rare.
I feel like I can pick up on people's emotions and thoughts. It's not like I hear their thoughts in my head, but I can sense their thoughts and emotions and take an accurate guess on what they might say or do. It's sort of like having a sixth sense. It's very hard for me to explain without it having happened recently, but if anyone knows what I mean and can explain it better for others, that would be great. :)

I am very curious if there is something going on with me that can be practiced and used at my whim, and if so, how can I go about practicing this? I'm very grateful that I even have this sort of ability to sense peoples emotions/vibes and thoughts and come to accurate conclusions and wish to learn more about this, even if only to gain a better understanding without any practicing of it involved. Not so grateful of the deja vu because it does occasionally get irritating to "remember" things I've never seen before in reality.

Please ask any questions you may have about this... I do better to describe things such as this when I have specific questions to answer rather than starting from scratch trying to describe the whole experience.

By the way, I apologize in advance if I've posted this in the wrong section. I did a search on "deja vu" and found this thread: http://www.hyperspacecafe.com/forum38/6134.html and posted in the forum it was in.

deja vu can mean many things. Most of us dont answer these kind of questions unless we know an answer that wont hurt you and are 100% sure of what we are talking about. So dont take a no answer as if your being ignored or asking a wrong question.
Keep practicing this and build your esp powers up. Test yourself, and keep records... :)

I was actually thinking about keeping a dream journal with as much specific information as I can think of, and a separate deja vu journal with specifics and I'll add in the part that was added in from the dream. Maybe there's a pattern?

I can't think of any ways I can practice this other than trying harder to be more sensitive to peoples thoughts and emotions.

Do you think meditation would help? I've noticed that when I meditate daily for longer than a week my mind is cleared and I can focus better.

Just out of curiosity... in what ways could the wrong advice hurt me?

All of the above.    Practice working on your 3rd eye area also.

Azureus,

It is very common to pick up on the emotions of others when your psychic center is a work, but the challenge is to ‘translate’ that energy with accuracy, it sounds to me that you are experiencing a transition, may I ask how old you are? Translating energy is the most important task because you can easily be subjected to becoming a target of projecting other people’s energy; this is a common procedure of the illuminati.

I'm about to turn 16.

Interesting... so by "translating" this energy, you can "read their mind" with accuracy..?

I have a question that doesn't relate to this thread but probably shouldn't be posted in a new thread....
I was reading a thread about programming/deprogramming and it had a list of triggers. One thing that really scared me was that I saw "Octahedron" with a bunch of triggers underneath it. Thinking back to my early childhood, I remember playing with these magnet toys with little balls and sticks that you could build things with.

The reason seeing "Octahedron" at the top of a list of triggers scares me is that when I was playing with these toys, I would always be building octahedrons. I would throw in the occasional square or pyramid, but octahedrons always appealed to me for some reason. I would build a few of them and create little magnet stands and then spin the octahedrons. I used to play with the magnet toys with my best friend, who made a wide variety of shapes and structures and I believe was wondering why I would constantly make the same shape. Sometimes they would be larger, or there would be more of them on one stand, or they would be hung higher or something, but the octahedron is really the only shape I can recall building.

Is this just a coincidence or should I be looking more into this whole "programming" thing?

Also, just out of curiosity, what would age have to do with the transition into being able to 'translate' energy?
