just a moment in time

This may sound boring to some but wanted to share just in case there is someone interested.

I was alone yesterday, driving down the highway, the radio was playing AC/DC and I was singing very badly! but for some reason I took a moment just to look around, above was a beautiful blue sky without a cloud, the fields are a gorgeous green at the moment, and next to me in those fields were two galahs flying simultaneously at the same height as I was in my car, and for a moment I just thought ‘wow’, then my whole day went back to that moment, just a moment in time where everything felt peaceful, calm and perfect.

 

Does anyone else have ‘moments’ to share where life is just wonderful, just a perfect moment in a chaotic life…?

I may have and probably did have moments like that, I just can't remember when.

Also...what is a Galah?

I have those moments quite often AJ and it seems it's always in nature.Occasionally a song from my glory days :D will also recreate a moment in time but that may just be sentimental. 
Also there are times when in the presence of a baby or toddler I have such a moment. I love babies.:)

Oh... oh... I got one!  This is my most recent magical happening in my life and it just happened today!

Yesterday I was clocking out at work... you know, standing at the swipe clock at 5:30pm ready to go home.  While I was standing there waiting for the last few seconds to count down I thought of a lady who had left my workplace 2+ years ago.  She just popped into my mind!  She was our Director of Nursing and she moved on to -- I believe -- a promotion within the state.

I entertained thoughts of her for.......................... oh, I don't know, about two minutes.  She was fun.  She had told me on one of our times on a work related road trip that she had choked on some food once and she floated out of her body and was looking down at herself choking.  Well, I swipe out at the clock and then walked out to my car and drove home.

About 3pm today, I get a phone call and of course it is this lady!  I told her "NO WAY!  I was just thinking about you yesterday and here it is... you call today!"  She needed me to FAX her some blank forms she was going to use as a guide at her new job ( a risk management and advanced directive form).  She was all business on the phone but did think my story of thinking of her just yesterday was pretty neat.

HOW STRANGE this is.... I had not really thought of this lady for years and then she calls the next day.  I thought it was fantastic.  Wonders never cease for me!

Yes MN, nature is what creates moments in time, it just wonderful to stop and smell the roses..

You are manifesting, that is wonderful and don’t be surprised at your ability, its because you thought of her, and did not focus on her calling you, the universe just took care of the message, I love hearing stories of manifestation, just love it.

A galah is bird, and your Karen loves them, when she was here she said “I just want to see a galah out of a cage” and she seen a few but it was not the season for them in flocks and now they are everywhere they are a beautiful bird but they have a weird call, a bit like a cocky, all our birds sound a little prehistoric when I think of it, loaded a pic, hope it works

What beautiful birds - both Astrojewls picture and even DT's pink bird.

Well, last night was so cool.  I had just posted the message that is above this one -- about "hugging the universe" & "saying thank you" and I had the TV on and was sitting in the recliner, relaxed and surfing the internets.  I started thinking about the message I had posted about hugging the universe and I thought to myself how it was a little silly.... I mean, lol.... who *hugs the universe"!?!?  I thought some may think me a fool for posting that.   Or say it was a little silly or stupid.

... and as soon as I finished that thought in my head, without skipping one second of time, immediately, I heard the man on the TV, in a commercial for a new car say:

"...I just let [color="navy"]the universe[/color] take care of everything else".

It was great!  The thoughts in my head at that time were about the words *the universe" and they were echoed back to me, right then, by the man on the TV.  And what was echoed back, I thought, was very important... just let the universe take care of everything else!

Very nice silly, when you take notice there are signs all around you to thank you and let you know that you are being taken care of.

 

DT, some people call them the pink cockatoo, I think maybe they are related somewhere along the line, but they are not as loud as the cocky!
