Moonchild,
Tourmaline is a favorite of mine, especially the blue green, it has amazing texture and feels a bit like aqua aura. Tourmaline is for self and a powerful mental healer. Tektite is rare and a strong grounding stone mostly comes from meteorites, so it is out of this world! Great choice and a real energy boost for self choosing these stones TT could be ‘totally together’.
Bronzite, I had not heard of so had to look it up, and I read that it provides one with courage to ‘do’ and is a stone for courtesy, but does not tell me where it is found, did they tell you at the store?
Tell me how does the tourmaline make you feel the moment you touched it, it is so mysterious and energetic.

I bought 2 specimens of black tourmaline and 3 specimens of tektite, which has a pitted look.I hadn't realized that the tektite is quite rare.
The type I have is from China, and it is a meteorite,it even looks it.They are large pieces. About 10 centimeters long.It has banishing properties, eliminates bad energies, assists one in attaining knowledge and learning lessons throughout the travels of life, balances the masc/fem,provides insight, strengthens ones energy field and can stimulate thought transmission.
The Bronzite is found in the Adirondack mountains in NY.It has heavy iron content. If one has difficulty in making decisions or facing a challenging choice, meditating with it will help you feel your way threough the pros and cons.It is excellent for tapping into gut feelings. It's intense nature forces feelings to the surface. It breaks through physical impact of emotional pain
so you can heal.Besides these very intersting ones
I also bought one called a Nebula and Rhodochrosite.I now have a pretty big collection of some powerful crystals ans stones. They are all
on a special tray, and I hadn't realizied until someone pointed it out to me,that the tray emanates quite a bit of energy.

What kind of tray is it?
I always say you can never have too many. You have just reminded me that I have not been crystal shopping for a long time, and I think I will have to make a day to go. Thanks for sharing, what does the nebula do?

Astrojewels....I didn't know you were so knowledgeable about gems. I love all gem stones but have always had a fascination with Alexandrites. It took me years to find one to own but I finally found one. I love to look at it because it just keeps changing colors. Mine goes from shades of green, blue green, purple, reddish purple. Once in a while a bluish tinge to the purple.

I know they originated in the early 1900's in Russia and were favored by the royal family or Alexander. They came from a mine that has since dried up which makes them so rare. Do you have any other info on them. I would love to know more about their power or luck if any.

My name is Astro for astrology and jewels for the wonderful gifts of the earth - crystals, I love them equally, I even do a crystal profile which combines your astrology placements to your frequency which tells you the stones that suit, how to care and look after them and how to program them, and the personal shape which I feel is best suited.
I am always happy to talk about crystals, anytime.

Sorry, I did not answer your question. The best info I can suggest is buy the book - A kaleidoscope of crystals by MELODY. She is the crystal queen with no doubt.

Moonchild: I have a piece of Moldavite (a form of Tektite) that I got a couple of years ago from the Moldau Valley of Czechoslovakia.  I really love it and carry it around with me almost everywhere. My piece looks like it was once attached to a branch of something and was plucked off of it.  I've enclosed a picture of it. The picture doesn't show up very well, but the color of it is a medium-dark green (kind of like healthy grass).

BTW: I'd also like to know what kind of a tray you keep your crystals on. Right now I keep mine in a plastic case, but I am looking for something better.

Alexandrite: According to my Crystal Bible, Alexandrite is a form of Chrysoberyl (Beryl).  It opens intuition and metaphysical abilities, creates a strong will and personal magnetism. Regenerative, it rebuilds self-respect, and supports rebirth of the inner and outer self. It centers, reinforces, and realigns the mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies. It brings joy, expands creativity, expedites change, and enhances manifestation. An emotional soother, it teaches how to expend less effort. It stimulates imagery, including dreams and the imagination.
