Ciao
Did you know that ciao is actually Medieval Italian word for a slave?
Weird, eh? As if I'd known...icon_wink You keep surprising me, too Sariel...icon_smile
Ciao
The very informal and familiar Italian ciao can be used as a greeting or a farewell. Ciao sounds approximately like our food word chow. Ciao came into standard Italian from a Venetian dialect where ciao is a condensed variant of schiavo, “slave” in the longer formal greeting schiavo suo, “your slave,” itself a reduction of sono il suo schiavo, signore, “I am your servant, sir.” How very close to the Victorian English greeting we read in Charles Dickens, “Your servant, Mr. Scrooge.” Today one may still hear such a greeting in Latin in the common Austrian greeting Servus! with stress on the last syllable. Servus harks back to the days of ancient Rome when slavery was in force, and slave servants had to greet their masters with the lickspittle sibilance of servus sum, “I am your slave.”

Venetians were great slave traders.

(Parlo un pocco Italiano anche!;)).

Schiavo brings to mind the horrible legal battle of a woman by the name of Terri Schiavo in FL. who was dubbed to be in a terminal vegetative state by her husband. There was a lot speculation that her husband tried to 'relieve her' in order to get to her funds...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terri_Schiavo

Again, eery how fitting the name turned out to be given her condition & being at the 'deliverance' of her husband (i.e., his slave... just like AC is enslaved by her idea of SS).

'Ciao' is understood in most of Southern Europe as well as Southern Germany (Bavaria) as well as Austria & especially Switzerland as a means of farewell.

Quote:The Romans used ave and avete by themselves for saying hello or goodbye. Later ave was a morning greeting, and vale was used when leaving someone in the evening.
"Ave Caesar...!" as the old Romans used to greet their Emperor. And 'vale' is used in Spain to say 'ok' or 'bueno' (OH?).

"Salute" (à votre santé!) interestingly turns into the casual 'salut' (bonjour) in French yet keeps its original meaning in Italian & Spanish (salud! To your health!) and 'Salüt' in Swiss German (emphasis on 'a') again as the colloquial 'hi/hello'.

And now we know where 'Il Papa' gets the name for his little white open-air 'taxi' from....perpetuum mobile - eternal vehicle. icon_smile

AndrewX Wrote:Once upon a time there was a non-conforming sparrow who decided not to fly south for the winter. However, soon the weather turned so cold that he reluctantly decided to fly south. In a short time ice began to form on his wings and he fell to Earth in a barnyard, nearly frozen solid. A cow passed by where he had fallen, and crapped on the little sparrow. The sparrow thought it was the end, but the manure warmed him and defrosted his wings!

Warm and happy, able to breath, he started to sing.
Just then a large cat came by, and hearing the chirping he investigated the sounds. The cat cleared away the manure, found the chirping bird, and promptly ate him.

The Moral of the Story:
- Everyone who
craps on you is not necessarily your enemy
- Everyone who gets you out of
crap is not necessarily your friend.

And Stewart Swerlow is a habitual liar, a con-artist, a thief 'who steals from the weak and handicapped', a squeeler, a peadophile, a mass rapist, a mass murderer, and is about as psychic as a blue-arse butterly in the middle of a bad bout of dihhorea.

What's the point of the  story? Nevertheless sparrow would die one way or another.

Welllllll... I suppose if the sparrow had not chirped everything would have been ok for him.  But he did chirp, in that he didn't keep his mouth shut.  I omitted to list the real 3rd moral of the story Sarial in case our young friend took it wrong, given she seems a little ummm, touchy shall we say.  So I instead replaced it with the blur on Stewart for want of a better reason.

But here are all 3 of the morals to the story Sariel:

There are three morals to this story:

(1) Everyone who sh*ts on you is not necessarily your enemy.
(2) Everyone who gets you out of sh*t is not necessarily your friend.
(3) If you are warm and happy in a pile of sh*t, keep your mouth shut.

So as you can see, perhaps AC would have taken it wrong, and contrary to what some others may think Sarial, I do not enjoy or like upsetting people, and I am not referring to young AC; she's a good girl at heart.

There is a difference between purposely setting out just to upset some one and showing them who they really are, because the truth can tend to hurt... if you know what I meanicon_lupe.  But even then, you'll notice that I always try to firstly point it out in a diplomatic manner without any ill intent.  A good and humble person will recognize that and behumble to it, even if they don't wish to agree, acknowledge or see the truth I present to them.  But when they are not of a white-heart and they begin covering up and smuthering the truth with lies and insultsicon_lupe... well, then... you know.lolol  But even then Sariel, I remain a 'gentleman on a small mission', albiet a very small one, because we are all human, even those with a black heart.  So I can't let them 'have 'it'' as though they are animals because in essence that would make me one too; I, the one with the white-heart.

Back to the sparrow... No doubt the story makes a little more sense to you now with the true 3rd moral?  No doubt.;)
Quote:Again you should pay more attention. I did not say your story was hypothetical, I was meaning in hypothetically speaking, if it were true etc. saying what I was saying and I believe there is a difference.
I find there is truth in logic. And find it difficult to apply that story to a real life situation other than one very, very vague.
I do like the story, but it also seems a bit shady.
Do you find yourself personally taken aback? You must be... because weren't you putting in suggestions not long ago?
I was not meaning to insult you, although you seem to want to do just that for me, which to me seems petty. Fancy me humoring you?

Quote:... and that was thou quote, thy pissed thy self laughing when read thee.

Uh, okay? Then thou laughs at very silly things. Not just as it wasn't really a quote at all, but wasn't meant to be taken so ironically serious. As it be an expression that yours truly was indeed not being so forceful.
Speaking of logic, as I quote you, you're saying 'your pissed your self laughing when read you.' I believe it's in the dictionary.
Not just one incidence, I believe I've had my dose of irony for the week!
But since theee seems to know how to have suuuch a great time why don't theee laugh with someone instead of at, my fair friend?

Quote:Is thou still at home by thee way? Is thou still thinking what shall thou do? Please don't say ye...

Ouch, that was a low blow.
May I say, that if you were in a fix I'd never kick you, especially if you were already down. Is it normal for you to substitute logic or its lack for attacks? To think if I was someone who was both open AND easily bruised!
Yes 'me' is still home, (don't say whaaaaaaa???) but not for long, and no I am not 'running away' or living with strangers trust me.
I might return your courteous comment in favor, but you weren't so conspicuous as to make yourself vulnerable.
And yes my silly fellow, 'me' knows what to do now... I think.

I still don't get why you're calling Stew a rapist, pedophile maniac psycho child molester, though.
Now listen young lady, relax for a minute, I'll say it straight and I hope you understand.  No one is kicking you, no one is trying to put you down... that's why I posted the story about the little sparrow as it very applicable in this issue.

Given the way you are continually perceiving others who are trying to help you as though they are attcking you, I can tell you that you really do need to somehow toughen up a little to the reality of things.  No one in this life will ever treat you as though we live in a fairytale... because that only happens sometimes when one is a child.  If you are wishing to become an adult, and why shouldn't you, then you should really be looking at trying to develop a more matured approach to things.  Now hold on... let me finish.

It has become exceedingly apparent to me that what you are REALLY looking for is NOT a change of premises, but rather a change on your ability to accept the truth that others indirectly pose to you about yourself.  This is why 'the universe' has made it almost impossible for you to leave home right now (financially etc); because WHAT YOU SEEK you WILL NOT find anywhere else but within YOU.  Do you understand?

Leaving home right now is the worst thing you could ever do, because it will prevent you from reaching the level of maturity and inner strength that you require to be able to then go out into the world and live a successful and content life.  Know well that once you reach the right level you will be able to go wherever you wish without asking anyone's advice.  You will do it as easily and as effortlessly as you now leave home to go out shopping or visit a friend.  Don't worry, you are not the first or last to be in this predicament, so don't be too harsh on yourself; it's all part of the learning curve.  When the time comes and you are ready, I can assure you that if you read back on this thread and what everyone else has told you, it will be very apparent that no one was ever trying to put you down in any way.  Keep a record of it and do it when the time comes; you'll see how wrong I'm not.

Your first step is to get a job.  I know that is not simple, but neither is life and that is where you want to be.  Do whatever it takes to become a little financial, not just for the money, far more importantly, it will help you to strengthen your character, which will also strengthen your perception of what others are truly trying to tell you, and that will strengthen YOU.

That's the best advice I can offer you AC, and know well, that I would offer the same advise to any young person who is at the same level of developement in their life as you are now.

Take it easy, it will all work out ONCE you have focussed on what it is that your really need, and not on what you want.

Cheers now.:)

No problem at all, Andrew. I like the story, actually. And I understand your approach. But nevertheless thanks for clarification.

Heh, I always like to read from both sides about anyone. I think that way we could get a more balanced and realistic picture about people. And after all, it seems to be more clever in this way.

Just your fingers, yust your fingers. After all, you just  typed I suppose.

I don't believe this about Maryanne or whatever is her name. And also who the heck is Tom? There are many people who attack S.S. especially so called channelers because he (S.S) claimed in public that all channeling is generated by sattelites which seems to be true. So, I consider this as their internal wars, Expansions vs. other spiritual new age groups out there.

I don't believe this story about blind woman, because, first, it sounds like to be taken from some third script scenario, and second, because if you look at S.S. work you will find everything he spoke already in Hindu religion, Aryan/ancient Persian religion, partially Nordic/Egyptian even Christian religions. These are all old, ancient beliefs  and teachings  that have been  removed  by Christianity/Catholic Church from the main  population and  now are again introduced for so called New Religion. Christianity became old concept, and now must to be replaced with something new.
In the same way Christianity took everything from Egyptian religion two thousands years ago.

But yes, Expansions have all characteristics of a cult. It's like that it was created by instructions from a book written just about cults. That's why they aren't happy about other sites/forum that wrote about it because they can't control them.

I know Tom and what he said about Marianne is true. SS talks about Marianne in Alien Connection. Tom talked with Marianne and found out more than what SS said in his book about her.
