I would guess 30-35:)

AC, I hope it works out;) I think it would be best to wait and see and relax. I have not read much here but that is what I felt anyways.

I did not know you were a girl:)

Quote:About what are you writing particularly?

Well, many things... but one of the latest is about a boy who plays chess, it so happens.

Quote:I am saying how could you know me if you don't know me?

This is what I was wondering of Andrew.
I didn't say for certain you had soft spots, I said 'surely' you do which is ironically a word one might use when they are not as sure.
But yes generally I believe everyone has certain aspects of them that are considerate however apparent or hidden, especially if they are inconsiderate in the first place, which makes sense when you think about it. But I'm probably not making much sense right now, if you don't already know what I mean.
I'm not going to explain the rest because neither of us care enough anyway.

Quote:btw

You say that a lot.

Quote:It would be nice to play chess with you. Especially , if you play, as you write. Just a thought, though.

LOL! Yes especially if I beat you and you go 'whatever' lol!
I would be interested in a game, only I don't think internet chess does the experience justice.

I also have one or two things to say to xanthas but they might be too 'painful' as she puts it.

Thanks for the gesture HeadSpace.

That's why I actually bothered putting in gender at all, because I get that more often than not, lol :)

Quote:Andrew, what a lovely dog!

She was a little ripper X, an amazing little dog.  Knew everything without ever training her, you'd just tell her and she'd understand immediately, freaky.  I couldn't believe my eyes one day when she was about 1yo.  I saw her through my kitchen window placing pieces of food in the middle of the yard and then hiding in wait for birds to come and eat the food so she could attack them. :shock:lolol  One thing about this variety of dog that some may not like, and they all do it, is that they will 'test you' all their life.  They never give up, they're relentless; they're the Borg. lolol  If you don't quite understand what I mean by that, get one and you'll see.  They're a large dog disguised as a little dog, you'll think you own 2 dogs when you have one of these.  Just make sure you have lots of soil/earth in your backyard; they don't call them Terriers for nothing, especially these ones, they're like rabbits when it comes to that.  Another great thing about this variety is that snakes cannot bite them; they're too swift and agile for snakes.  Doozi once killed an almost 4foot long  Brown Snake on a mates farm when she was 5yo while we were inside having lunch.  An amazing little dog the Jack Russell... fearless, ultra swift, very strong for their size, hearty, great with kids, not much of a guard dog but a simply brilliant watch dog… especially the females.  Females of this variety are much better than males if you like sleeping at night.  They will only ever bark when something is truly wrong.  Whereas the males will bark relentlessly even if a fly passes within 500yards of their territory/property.LOLOL  As with most dogs they're good value, it's all in how you raise them because a dog is like a human that cannot speak and must be treated as such.

DT,
Tell Anibus that Doozi would have been obliging and very happy to do so if she were still around, I guarantee you that, she loved other dogs.  BTW... why do I get the feeling that Anibus is the boss of the house?lolol  Every pic I've seen of him he looks like he's lazing about and waiting to be pampered.lolo

Quote:Yes, you're right AC, totally and indisputably right.  I must have been blind not to see all that, I didn't know what I was thinking at the time I wrote it; silly me.

Lol
LOLOL You like that one AC... I'm glad to see you liked something.

Quote:One might think however I've had enough of arguing!

Funny you should say that...Cool

Quote:Now here's a picture of Doozi, my old little Jack Russell girl.  She reminds me of someone but I can't recall who right now.  She was a cheeky little girl that thought she was a lion, a real little character she was and great fun to have around.

^^ You know what they say, dogs reflect their owners!

Oh no AC, oh no.lololol  Does this mean that I'm actually like a Jack Russell?   That I'm cheeky and I think I'm a lion?  Well it's of some consolation that I'm a real little character whose great fun to have around at least. lololol  What would I then be if I showed you photos of numerous other dogs that I've had in my life?  Like my good old Rottweiller (Zeus) or my Doberman(Stokes) or my Blue Heeler (Louie) or my little Staffordshire Bull Terrier (Max)?  In fact, I've had almost 10 different dogs in my time, and each one was a different variety... but they were all great in their own way.  I've never had any cats though, only dogs and birds (large and small birds).  If I were to ever get a cat, I'd really like a Blue Burmese, and I'd call it Tuffy.lolol  They're a magnificent variety of cat, they're an immaculate cat IMO.  You never know, maybe one day.

Now if it's a 'visual' glimpse of an aspect of some one's character on a forum that you're after, I would suggest you'd be better off directing your attention to their avitar.  Remember how I implied that you are at the point in your life where you want to 'blossom' into womanhood?  Notice also how you picked a large blossoming tree instead of a picture of a single blossom or a small blossoming branch.  A large tree that has many branches intertwining and crossing each other in a manner that can be said to be "all over the place and covering a lot of area/volume".  Now look at your posts... and don't take that wrong, just think about it.

Quote:Now she is a cute dog...

Well, now I do feel sorry for the dog as you seem to be using her to express your irritation or up turned nose to me...
You are not alone in saying she was a cute dog AC, most everyone who met her wanted to take her home and keep her.LOLOL!!!  She was a Doozi, hence her name.  But that was more her nick name or modified name to what I originally named her; Suzy.  Everybody thought Doozi was more befitting so it stuck.  Irritation AC?  Boy, what can I say?  I am not irritated by you AC, make no mistake there.  You say it as you wish whenever you wish with me and know well that it won't bother or irritate me in the slightest.  You missed the point I was trying to make with her... sorry to say... again.lololol  Oh well, doesn't matter.

Just keep in mind that I've already mentioned what I feel is the best thing for you to do, if you feel otherwise that's fine too.  In the end, know that whatever path you take will be the right one even if it seems otherwise at the time.

Take care.

Sorry Andrew, I didn't know about Doozi. Yes, you are right, though, about Anubis. He is the boss of the house. Especially me. He walks all over me - literally. LOL He is very smart though, and he knows exactly how to 'play' us to get what he wants. He, also, is not much of a watchdog. In fact, he is the biggest chicken I have ever seen. If someone were to break in and/or attack us, he would be the first one OUT of the door, getting as far away as possible. Although, in the case of 'creatures' he likes to think he is a big, bad, hunter. I tell you though, I don't know how this dog stays so 'fat.' He is the pickiest dog you have ever seen. Even turning his nose up at hamburger. I guess it is because he will not take walks, as he is afraid of every car or noise that he hears and he sprints off for the door, digging at it to get in. LOL

Oh, is that supposed to mean I don't like any of your advice now Anndrewwww?
Well, I didn't have anything to say, I just thought it was funny.
It's not as if it's my duty to mark every one of your say-says with logic or a witty comeback. But wouldn't that be a reputation to uphold?
There's not always much sense you can make of a joke anyway. It usually starts/stops with difference of opinion.

Quote:Funny you should say that...

I knew you might perceive as much.
True debate can be quite stimulating, but any of that adrenaline rush seems to have worn out long ago. So you can trust I don't go looking for arguments.

You can take what I said however lightly you want, it doesn't always have to be so threatening and serious.
But given the philosophy that dogs reflect their owners (more so than people reflect other people, it seems) you're not supposed to just go about picking the ones you like.
If you would like to neutralize the Jack Russell with some more noble dogs or whatever, of course you can do that because we all have positive and negative qualities however much either side is shown or seen.
I never said the dog you showed me was your only dog and is the best match for you out of the entire world, just that isn't it interesting you think/say a dog of your own is so much like me.
Our family has had several dogs also and several fish/cats and a few hamsters over the course of the years. Cats might even prove to be more interesting than dogs, especially when they're young. Because they're such curious rascals and both so capable of getting themselves into trouble. Your dog isn't likely to eat your fish, but your cat might. As long as they're not the overfed lazy cats they can be quite entertaining and just as silly as dogs. Only dogs aren't expected to make perfectly footed/measured/calculated leaps, so it can be rather funny when they don't.

I wasn't looking for a specific glimpse, visual or otherwise. Nope just teasing you ; )
If I wanted to examine you in such a way I might have given you the full profile by now, but you do seem to like speculating others for security... as you seem to like giving input rather than receiving it as I've said already and all. Just look, here you are giving me the eagle eye again.
I don't remember you saying that, but I might have caught that implication if I did.
Yes, I am aware of this about myself. And who would not, being a female want to work on this part more, especially having lived a fair share of my life as a tomboy? This is why I've been mistaken as a male several times, because of the lack of feminine energy I'm running.
Especially seeing as how females these days aren't as womanly or feminine as they could be because of so called 'feminism' and trying to play 'men's games' I should make drastic improvements. (Though it was fun people seeing me and still not knowing whether I was a dude or lady, LOL!!) So the take on the multitude of blossoms does not necessary mean I am going for excess feminine energy.
To me the picture says something like 'possibilities.'
This picture was one of my desktops and I liked it because it was open, easy on the eye or calming and I could hardly find anything wrong with it, which is nice after looking through so many backgrounds. It had a river, road, grass and mountains, everything and all nicely placed. Nice thing to settle on, even if you don't want to look at the same thing all the time.
I don't think I'm the only one who would say so.
Indeed, I don't go out for many refreshing walks but I would sure like to more.
Also instead of trying to look at more of possibilities or providing several of the options you seem to go with whatever you like most. That could simply be due to whatever of however many filters.
One possibility is that the avatar expresses me as I am now or as I am beginning instead of how I would like it to be, have you considered this?
It could also be so in interesting ways... for example what feminine energy represents, whether logic or spirituality rather than the manifestation itself.
Being all over the place might simply reflect what's going on in my head at the moment, and trust me I rather be less scattered but even that implication has loose relation to my posts as the content should be self evident.
I do seem to reply to more, and the quoted content does take up more room.
So does using the return button several times instead of making blocks of text, which can be harder to read.
And to an extent I can not help if my words have more 'volume' if that's how you put it or I see more to the situation.
Although the observation is somewhat interesting, observing my attitude on attention or being the center of it (the tree isn't the center of the picture, is it?) it doesn't exactly fit.
If I can 'come up' with all these things let's say simply because I like, then given the personal nature of your posts why don't you also allow yourself to say more? Do you really believe one should say less according to how much they have to say or do you not have much to say?
This is certainly not the first time someone has tried to dismiss the content of my response with the length of it. Isn't that awfully convenient, though?
Also as I've already said, I do write what's on my mind, rather than take a longer amount of time searching for what simply sounds best. After all is this not why any of have a voice in the first place?
Whoops I might be asking you too much questions, hope that doesn't agitate you.
So without asking, I'm just going to say I've thought about it enough.

Quote:Irritation AC?  Boy, what can I say?  I am not irritated by you AC, make no mistake there.  You say it as you wish whenever you wish with me and know well that it won't bother or irritate me in the slightest.  You missed the point I was trying to make with her... sorry to say... again.lololol  Oh well, doesn't matter.

Oh, really? That's nice... So then you like make fun of people anyway, even if you don't think they deserve it or is the lax attitude applied to everything?
So then I would say your posts definitely do make less sense, however one doesn't need irritation to look down on another, as might have been proved.

Quote:Just keep in mind that I've already mentioned what I feel is the best thing for you to do, if you feel otherwise that's fine too.  In the end, know that whatever path you take will be the right one even if it seems otherwise at the time.

:)
I would say that's the most considerate thing you've said to me ever.
If I've already thanked you and wished you luck I don't know how to return the favor, just cheers, and happy ways.

... now why does that not suprise me DT? lolol  I often wonder, including with myself,  who is whose pet in such relationships. Coollol   MY friends use to comment to me about Doozi, "She acts as though she owns the place!"  That included my car and house, and I'd casually reply, "That's because she does." lolol
Quote:Sorry Andrew, I didn't know about Doozi.
Hey, don't be for one minute DT, I don't take these matters in that manner.  Pets come, they go, humans do too, You're time would be better spent having a thought about the countless innocent children that have been killed in recent times compliments of the illuminati.  That saddens me far more than losing 1,000 of my pets.  People far too often lose sight of the big picture, including when it comes to the passing of a pet.  So long as you always did the right thing by it when it was around, feel no remorse or pain I say, rejoice in having had such a good thing in your life.  After it's gone, move on and find it somewhere else, it exists everywhere really.

So if you want to feel sorry for anyone in this thread, you should direct it at some one who really needs it.;)

Hi AC, I hope you're doing well.icon_biggrin

Late last night I saw ,on internet news ,where a Michigan man believes he is the 3 year old boy ,(blond  blue eyed BTW) that was kidnapped from in front of a grocery store on Long Island, New York in 1955.October 31st 1955 to be exact. Detectives seemed to think he is correct but are still investigating . His mother left both he and his baby sister outside while she went in. The sisiter was left alone.

I'm curious to know how he landed in Michigan.

Another dad's view of '55 tot mystery: It's 'a bunch of bull'

12:13 AM EDT, June 18, 2009

As the Michigan man who claims he may be the East Meadow boy who vanished from Long Island 54 years ago went public, his words and images sparked hopes while the man who raised him said his story is "bull."

John Robert Barnes, of Kalkaska, Mich., said he hoped DNA test results will prove him right, as relatives of Steven Damman, the lost boy, clung to hopes the mystery of what happened to the toddler could finally be solved.

But Richard Barnes said he is John Barnes' father, and it remains a mystery to him why his son doubts his identity.

"It's a bunch of bull," Barnes said at his Kalkaska home. "I've been his dad all his life. Twenty years ago, he decided that he didn't look like his sister and brother. He thought he was switched and I thought he was through with it."
