Here's a news story that says December is set to be the coldest in the UK since 1890.

I recommend a book Titled Secrets Of The Soil by Peter Tompkins (1998). The same fellow who wrote The Secret Life Of Plants.

In it there is a chapter titled  Icicles In The Greenhouse.

I have my own thoughts as to why they are just now talking about this  including Schmeagle Deagles role.

The near 10" of snow we had is nearly totally gone. All that's left is where it was piled by shoveling etc.

Today low 50's F. Cool

We talked about the 70's snow and today Michigan broke that record. In fact today broke every single day snow record for Michigan. We got 38" today. I wasn't to happy about that because I had to spend almost 4 hours snow blowing today. I hope this doesn't happen again but it sounds like it might because they say more storms are on their way.

That's snowmageddon!

"Every single day snow record" was broken. Do you know what the monthly record is?

We only got @ 2 inches.  It is very cold however and we are preparing for the coming storm. Hauled in and put up 2 cords of wood past few days.

No I don't know what the monthly record is. I'd have to do some searching to find that out. I know the season record was the winter of 78-79 at 33 feet of snowfall. I pray we don't beat that record.

Bolzano +5° C, Munich +8° C. Berlin +7° C, no snow anymore. No ice age yet.

I'm in the US north east and we got over 30 in. of snow with another storm threatening this week. Last winter brought a lot of snow also. Global Warming ??? NO. Ice Age..... probably.

Does anyone anywhere feel a warming trend ??? Just curious. Good place to ask since members are from all over the globe. thanks for the input so far.
