Heroes The TV Show
#1
Hey everyone,

Was wondering if ya'll were watching this series on NBC which is also encored on The Sci Fi Channel?

I apologize if this seems triggering but at the end of each episode, they keep saying"Save the cheerleader, save the world". I wonder if thats a triggering statemente of some sort and what it could possibly mean.

Also, I find it interesting that they take heroes of different racial backgrounds--an indian man, a japanese man, a man of african descent,etc...

I think this series is to activate people who have supernatural abilities(Psy,etc).

Whats your opinions on this?? Anyone watch the show?

My daughter got me to watch it last week and now I am 'tivo'ing the rest of them.  Since I missed the first three episodes, I'm not really sure what is going on, but it's the kind of show I like to watch.

It doesn't trigger me, and I still find it interesting that so many people keep on feeling that things 'trigger' them or 'activate' them. I'm not saying that I don't believe in it, I'm just saying that I, personally, don't seem to be affected by these things. Or at least I'm not aware of it...and I'm sure not going to let it bother me. I have to many other things to worry about.

I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the show...icon_popcorn

Me!!!

What do you think of the 'new' Dr. Who? At first I didn't like him. I thought the old one was 'sexier.' But now I'm getting used to the new one.

I wish I was watching the new Dr. WHO icon_mocken

As to Heroes, I hadn't seen it until last week, and then last night again.  I was very disturbed by the woman with the twin that was killed off (I hope) last night.

Well,  About Dr Who.  Have you noticed the messages they are giving in the episodes?   Shall I point them out?????

I liked this new version of Dr who from the start.  I liked the first guy, then I liked this new guy.  I was surprised they killed off the first one so fast but they wanted to let they noobies know how the Dr worked!

Dreamtime, I just cant believe youve not got into Battlestar G!   Thats all I have to say about that.   hehehe  peace!

Side note....  I saw some of the movie "The Jacket"...  Its playing on hbo all month.  Its trippy.  I wont give any of it away, its hard to watch in some places but is cool movie if you can stomach some of the scenes......

  Happy Halloweenie!

Yeah I think Dr. Who has some weird messages in 'em!!!! Btw...yah I agree with DT on the old Dr. Who. What happened to that other actor?? Ya know he was in 28 days later??? I haven't stayed in on a friday night long enough to watch the shows...I get lucky if I catch Avatar the Last Airbender lol...(I feel like I can relate to that kid but I'm sure its programming as we've discussed).

Sometimes I watch BattleStar Galactica. Interesting they've got Lucy Lawless in there!!!! She rules!!!! Xena was mah inspiration bro. Felt all nostalgic today when I caught an episode of Xena The Warrior Princess.

I didn't see The Jacket--thats the one with Keira Kneightly,eh?

Dude...check out Saw 3....that shiznit angered me!!!!!! and I couldn't keep my eyes open during the movie..I felt like how I behave on roller coasters(tucking my head into my torso within possible limits).

Btw..I wish I could watch Dead Like Me...it seems fascinating to have a journey as your former soul personality form and not be in a human body. The problem is erm I've got class during that time...otherwise I wouldn't know a thing about annuities and mortgages.

Haven: erm...well...that chick didn't have a twin that she killed off...erm...she erm probably is an un-noted exemplary monarch who was chillin with one of her alters who acted up all of a sudden.

PurpleParrot,   You couldnt drag me into a theater to watch Saw 3.  I do admire your spunk for going tho.  But I could barely watch the jacket and its kids play to Saw movies.  hehehe....      I just cant figure out how your able to even go to a Saw movie.     The Jacket--thats the one with Keira Kneightly,eh?   Yep!  She is cool....  I just love her Black finger nails.     Yay, Lucy Lawless in Battlestar,  Im watching re-runs of Andromeda, not that Lucy is in that but Hercules dood is fun.  Well, im watching dead like me on DVD rentals.

I kinda seeing Heroes as Prog/alters/Trig.   But might get into it some other time.?

Heroes might be that...programming with triggers and alters. I'm just wondering what the secret meaning to that line is about saving the cheerleader chick in order to save the earth and its population. I wonder if its like a programming installment so that if someone hears those words later on, they'll get triggered through various series, etc.

Sometimes its still hard for me to believe in specific programming if I had to be honest...I can see the mind control...

I've seen all three Saw movies(seesaw lol..). The first two Saw movies weren't terrible in regards to grotesqueness,etc...they had twist endings. The Third Saw Movie angered me..it made me wonder how sick people can get with killing of innocents. In a twisted way, it had a point to it. Albeit the fact that it did make me wonder if this stuff really happens in the real world...

btw..I went with friends. It wasn't scary but just disturbing.

The Grudge 2 scared me...it doesn't make sense to me why I freaked out about a blue skinned dead asian chick staring people down, making weird guttural throat sounds, and suddenly grabbing her victims that they die. Oh and then she has scary hair and a dead scary gray skinned dead asian son who sounds like a cat when he opens his mouth. Yeah, it erm, bugs me about how something like that could bother me for days..lol...i could lamely say, erm cuz disincarnates exist....they could only harm and scare but not kill.....well she kills.

thanks for letting me share my rants.

lol

peace
