Welcome ashanti.I'm looking forward to your participation. As Elizabeth has said, I wouldn't be too concerned about retribution from "them".

I have had some time to reflect on some things, and I actually deeply regret posting here, so to not worry to give me access to the main forums. In fact, my posting here was completely unwarranted, as Stewart has done nothing to harm me whatsoever. If anything, it is the other way around. I have received no pressure whatsoever to change my mind on this, I just have become aware of some issues within myself that I need to deal with and work on.

My apologies for bothering you.

To harm someone means to cause physical or mental damage. So unless you have done this to Stewart, you haven't harmed him. (and he creates his own reality with mind patterns etc..too, so there is that to take into account). If you were honest in your post, and telling the truth about how you feel,or what you learned, then that is not a bad thing either IMO.

I'm glad you saw that others who know him and what's behind him can share here. You are welcome back anytime. Certainly, don't let him spook you or beguile you with his brand of charm. The low-key voice or incessant 'victim mentality' has fooled MANY people before. Be well...and happy trails.

Nice.. do you live in Cape Town yourself? I lived in South Africa as a kid for 6 years and loved it.. I hear things are pretty bad these days though.. What's your take on things?

Yes, it was amazing. He was in South Africa - came to Cape Town only - an did a whole array of things. Yes, it was amazing. He was in South Africa - came to Cape Town only - an did a whole array of things. Some free talks, in which he hooked people to have personal consultations for him, then more free talks, then hooked them to going to his two day seminar. He also was at the launch of the film "Montauk Chronicles".

So his visit was structured by his sponsor to appeal to difference groups of people at different times. He attracted the New Age people with his Oversoul/Hyperspace tecniques, then the body-health/green people with a talk on the body, then the conspiracy theorist type people with the Montauk Chronicles, and so on.

I am interested in all these things, and am an explorer. I had not heard much about him before he came to SA, other than that he spoke about mind control, which is a topic that interests me very much.

I went to two of his free talks, and he was charismatic, charming and the ideas presented were fascinating. I wanted to have a personal consultation with him, so arranged for one during the time he was here.

I was disappointed. I had a specific issue which I wanted to talk to him about, but he did not seem terribly interested in it. I had the sense that he was not really "there", with me during the consultation, and picked up on a lack of empathy. I felt "overshadowed", that there was a lot wrong with me, and only he, Stewart, could help me.

I was going to go to his two day seminar, but after that, something did not feel right so I thought to myself "time to do some research". I have to say, it was not easy to find this forum, and it was hard to find credible critical material on him, but I dug and dug until I discovered this place.

And when I did - Oh. My. God. (No, NOT the OMG group) :)

I read and read and watched Tony Kim's videos - those are *phenomenal* because one could compare one's own personal consultation and see - oh but wait - the SAME things being said to others!!!!!!!

Jacaranda's posts were outstanding, as were yours, PPs, and so on. I read and watched the videos through the entire night, I could not stop until I had finished reading everything. Then I slept.

And when I woke up, it was like I had got myself back again. I am not perfect but by no means are all those things wrong with me. I am actually doing great, and I am able to direct my own life, I do not need anyone else to do it for me.

I bought 2 of his books "Hyperspace Helper" and "Blue Blood, True Blood" - they were not overpriced, nor was the personal consultation, so I did not mind spending that in order to explore this avenue. But I did not go to the seminar. And I will not be buying all the other stuff. And I will not be a Gold member on their forum, and so on.

This forum saved me a fortune, and a derailing of my otherwsie perfectly good life, so THANK YOU.

I have read that Stewart and Janet do not take kindly to any critical thinking of them, so will be cautious in my posts. I have, however, quietly given the links from this forum to some people.

Thank you all, so much, again.

Thanks for this topic and your important answer, ashanti.
This is how HCF is to be acknowledged as a true forum to discover and to learn from each other.

Welcome, Ashanti; I do hope you will return to share more about what you experienced. There is no harm done in sharing your story, as long as it is truthful, which is what I have done throughout all my posts. I never made up anything about my experience in dealing with the Swerdlows. This has always given me the comfort to say what I wanted to say without having to fear retribution. How can you attack the truth when there are facts to back it up? Trust me, if they were so dumb as to actually take this to a court of law, they'd end up in jail very quickly. I have never talked about their criminal activities which they had told me about, only because I felt this does not belong on a forum, but on records, in a file, with the FBI or the IRS.

Indeed they have tried to attack me through their lawyer, or should I say a client who happens to fancy Janet, but who isn't even allowed to the bar in the state of Michigan? Or their slander video which the posted on youtube, only to having youtube edit it so nobody knows what this crazy woman is actually talking about? They have a big problem with the truth, as it only damages them, their reputation, but not their clients. You see, we all have our problems and challenges in life - c'est la vie! We must make the best of it and seek happiness, all while not putting others at a disadvantage. Cults and sects exploit people's weaknesses, their seeking for help, for quest of earning money, sexual favours, or other things. Their 'retribution' really needn't worry you; as long as you stick to the truth and your own opinions, what can they do? Absolutely nothing!

Cults are like diets. We all know what and how we must eat, we have even learned in school what the food pyramid is, but gladly ignore it and eat the wrong foods. So we prefer to buy pills, books, etc. to gain the feeling of doing something. Then we see quick results, but which never last. This is what the Expansions Cult does. To provide you with hopes of a solution to any problem you might have. You initially feel good, because their techniques make you think that you are being proactive. However, eventually you realize that nothing got better, but worse, you have still not dealt with the problem that initially pushed you to seek an all-solutions answer. Our lives are so unique and different that we alone can find the perfect solutions.

Hi Jacaranda,

Thank you for writing, I have found your posts to be intelligent and articulate, and your accounting of your personal insights and experiences to be invaluable in assessing this area.

I would welcome the opportunity to dialogue with you, and I state at the outset, being completely upfront, that my experience is not complete. I have no agenda other than honest enquiry, and answer to no-one but myself.

I am still in the process of exploring their (Stewart and Janet's) work. To be honest, I find much of it fascinating, intriguing. I especially like the combination of mind control and spiritual healing, which is a fairly unique combination. However, I am someone who likes the full picture, and I am open to critical debate. The aspect of their business which reacts very strongly against anything that does not agree with them does bother me. The hostile reactions to any comments or questions that are merely critical thinking reflects, at the least, a lack of maturity in this area. I have seen people get shot down in flames just for expressing an alternative opinion to Stewart's take on something, and I do not like that. I have also observed meglomaniacal and narcissistic tendencies in Stewart's personality (Emperor of the universe???? "I am already so gorgeous, I could not get anymore gorgeous"????), and it is evident that he really does think he is superior to everyone else.

However, much of the work he has done is very interesting to me, and I have found it to be very helpful. I do not think I would like to become personally involved with them, but am enjoying exploring their work. I do not agree with all of it, but some insights are new, interesting, and useful.

With regards to previous criminal activity - Stewart does talk about it in his book "Montauk: The Alien Connection." He claims he was set up for fraud and embezzlement, and I believe that is entirely possible, as I know how governments do these things to people. Whether he was set up or not, it is always possible for people to change. The question is, are they involved in any CURRENT criminal activity? I don't think so.

I notice they seem to have had a very good year this year. They have a lot of fans and admirers. Personally, I do not like the whole fan/sychophant dynamic, because anyone needing sychophants around them is feeding off the energy of those people, and those people are not being authentic to themselves. It is one thing to be surrounded by good friends, it is quite another to need adoring, uncritical worshippers around you all the time. So, I do not like that aspect.

These are some of my observations and thoughts since I last posted here. I am very open to your thoughts on them.
