Preston Nichols Montauk Book The Music Of Time
Music group Queen also has a golden winged lion in it's logo; and I do recognize also a kind of white winged dragon in it.

Album: a Night at the Opera.

Their song "Bohemian Rhapsody" has been exposed for years (and still is) as the best popular song ever. That must have a (programming) reason.

Octahedron, did you experience this effect yourself?
No, but at that time, I remember friends who were triggered and changed mood/behaviour all the time by that song, and now I understand it. It was also a hit and both a television theme.
Octahedron, sometimes it takes a long time to understand the why of something.  I remember the show you mention but not the song.

I still love the same music I did back in the 70's even though there was stuff attached to it.

I have a partial, very unpleasant memory of an event from the 60's which involves that silly song by Herman's Hermits titled, "I'm Henry the Eighth, I Am."  What a gooney song that was.

House Of The Rising Sun is an old ,old folk song. I love the Animals version though.
Many fond memories associated to it for me.

A couple of years ago Eric Burdon and some of the surviving membes of Animals (don't know their names) perfored "House of the Rising Sun" on a PBS-TV fund-raising special.  Their updated version was even better than the original, which I also liked.

This show was packed with rock stars from the 1960s, such as Petula Clark, the Zombies, Peter & Gordon, the Troggs, Gerry & the Pacemakers, the Tremeloes, Wayne Fontana, etc.

Rebel, Do you like music from that era?

Yes, it's what I grew up with and still prefer. I've always considered the mid-1950s to the mid-1970s to be rock-and-roll's greatest era.

Rock and pop music began to change in the mid- and late-1970s with the onset of disco music, which I abhorred. The movies "Saturday Night Fever" and "Thank God It's Friday" contributed to disco's rise in mainstream popularity, and rock was transformed forever. I never connected with rock from the 1980s and 1990s either.

I never liked disco either.

I have to pretty much agree with you here as well.
