Would someone be so kind as to give me their views on Reiki?

I had my centers opened up more than a year ago; then went for the second degree after three months. Swerdlow says Reiki is not safe. According to a friend, when one's centers are opened up, it leaves one vulnerable to programming after that.

I was able to relieve myself and others of small ailments after that. Could still feel the power of Reiki after Janet Swerdlow's advice to flush with violet in order to 'cleanse' oneself of this control. But, gradually I found I can no longer rid myself of minor physical discomforts with Reiki the last few months. I think I may not have this power anymore.

Your opinions, please: is Reiki safe?

No,it is not safe.It is an ancient modality which has been corrupted and changed to suit the purpose of the many people who play at being knowledgable gurus.The Swerdlow's talk about it in programming terms.I am talking about it in non programming terms.The archetypes used can open you up more easily in regards to programming.I found extremely good pices of info to prove that it's a farce,but they are erasing this kind of info,because they don't want people to
find out.I have been amongst people who think they are some
kind of reiki master,and they are a farce.They can't even heal themselves.

I agree with MoonChild. Reiki is NOT safe....Reiki opened me up to programming and nearly destroyed my life. It was through Reiki that I met up with my "Spirit guides". I also got involved in crystal healing through the "guidance" I was getting, and through that these lower astral beings finally got a hold on me and I was being manipulated and controlled shamelessly. My enquiring mind was my savings grace as I kept on questioning things which just didnt add up. I finally saw through the deceit and through my grounding exercises got rid of the astral attachments. And all of this started with Reiki......

Thank You for writing this.So many people are into this. They have created forums for this and are trying to get more and more people into this.Ask any one of them,and they will not be able to tell you the real histroy of it before it became so popular in the west.They do not know the origins of it,nor that it is an ancient modality which is far more advanced than what is taught and that to go through the various levels,took much longer.

What about Pranic healing ?

I am a recent entrant - they dont open any of your chakrs though - its about using prana - ki around you - in the air, earth or from your Oversoul. the trainer didnt write any archetypes on any of my chakrs - that is done in Reiki.

The basic Pranic healing level - they just teach us to project energy from our palms into a chakrs.This is white Prana from the air mind. They also teach us Oversoul meditaion to access Oversoul energy to project it in healing.

At the Advanced level is when colrs are used.But we dont use chakra balancing with colors - chakra balancing is again done thru Oversoul asking it to balance the same.

The colors vary for the ailmant and for the purpose.And we onlu use pale sahed of a color. ;)

So basically we clean a chakra or an organ that is diseased with Pale green and then project from our hands color Prana or energy as per the ailmant.For Constipation - clean with green the solar plexus,navel and intestine. Then project Orange in the same. It gives results in 20 minutes - better be near a Restroom

I will post more combination so you guys can try them.You just need to focus on Oversoul and project the relevant color from the palms concentraing on the chakra that that color belongs to. To project Green focus on Throat, To project Red,Orange or Yello - Basic chakra etc.

Having undergone many medical procedures, I can attest to the ease with which another spirit or entity can attach itself.  Any time one's auric field is penetrated or weakened there is danger.  This includes blood draws for lab tests, dental work, surgeries, drunkenesss, astral travel, etc.

To me, the question is not how to avoid it (because it will happen somehow), but rather, how does one get rid of them.  Knowing how to clean one's auric field (or spirit or soul of whatever term you like) is absolutely necessary.

The most successful method my soul group has found is Reiki.  This has been proven to be very effective at cleaning away things that don't belong.

Reiki also has been the only method with which to reduce the swelling of my spine.  It is a visible, immediate change.  No, it doesn't "cure" it but the relief is amazing.  Maybe if it was done by a true master I would get more of a cure, but that is not available around here. 

So I rely on a highly trained layperson.  Just because I am not a professional baker, it doesn't mean I can't bake a cake.  It won't be a fancilly decorated, but it will still be very good. 

I have recently found that Pranic healing works even better for the physical problems, but it is not meant to be used for the removal of attached entities.  Pranic healing, however, depends greatly on the experience and training of the practitioner, so one has to be sure to check.

All in all, I think that Reiki and Pranic Healing both have their place as natural healing methods, but be careful (as in all things), and do your homework.

Thank you, MC! So I take it  that Reiki is not actually bad, but been corrupt? The actual original form does work - just that there is more work and effort involved in learning it? I did actually succeed in reliving myself and others of small discomforts, though; so would you say to a certain extent, the real power was there?

Oh and MC - what methods would you recommend to cleanse myself of Reiki's influence? I may not have the power anymore, but cannot  be sure just how 'free' I am from possible hidden effects of Reiki.

Your remarks also make sense - about Reiki masters. The one who initiated me would always get irritated when I asked questions about the source of the symbols with which they use to open our centers/to 'heal'. He didn't know! And he would just say that sometimes it's better not to question too much into something as it gets in the way of learning or gets in the way of 'faith'!!!!
