Reiki, Yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong And Other Energy Healing Arts
#1
Well I just wanted to start this thread on reiki, yoga, tai chi and let us share our experiences about it. I know that we should relate it to hyperspace and I knew that I should have started this thread somewhere else but I thought it would fit in this category for now. If its meant to be in a different category when we get deeper into it and relate it to mind patterns and hyperspace work, I hope we can start in that one category then...

Well anyone have experiences with these arts?

I did Qi Gung for a period of several years daily and had good results. It helped to keep my body in shape and was meditative at the same time. Because I don't have enough time I cannot practise it at the moment. But I can recommend it. It is especially good for people like me who sit in front of the Computer screen regularly and want to improve their body posture.

I used to go to these Dahnak courses where the instructor mixed Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Meditation and Yoga so I wouldn't really know what Qi Gong is specifically--we did this tanjian(spelling?) tapping...where we'd vigorously tap(pat) different parts of our body starting from our solar plexus....and we'd even affirm or scream out energies..

I felt different and better afterwards...I need to go back again. Recently I did Falun Gong with two friends of mine and it was interesting because my body seemed to know how to do those movements without me really guiding it into doing them. Has anyone experienced that before? I know that the body is a conscious energy form of its own but our soul personalities are the ones that operate it..its just that for some odd reason my body knew how to do these movements.

Anyone do yoga? This is what I try to do a few times a week to make my energy field lighter...

This is what I did:

I have to add I did this not to accumulate energy but to use this as substitute for jogging.
During the practice I sweat profusely and I achieved with it what I wanted and I got additional energy.

My statement with all of these things is:

better being lazy and sitting on the sofa then being blown up or depleted by uncontrolled astral streams !

I thought some chi visualizations are hyperspace exercises, I'm not sure about this.

It depends what you intend to let into your body. The exercises above you can either use as astral, hyperspace energy exercise or as a simple isometric exercise as I did mostly. I sit most of the day and such an exercise is welcome for me as it trains the muscles that balance the body and keep it upright.

Interestingly, Stewart recommends Tae Bo in his Stewart Says book.

When sitting a lot in the office, just walking around is very fine, I think.

At lunch, take a walk in the green parts of the city and do the cleansing breaths, T-bar balancing and merger exercises, go to brown at lunch.

This is not enough for me. I need more. Half an hour of bodily exercise gives me more satisfaction than a day of hyperspace exercises. I tried it out.

Wow he recommends Tai Bo?? I never really tried it but I thought it wasn't for real lol--I thought it was something invented and contrived for the masses..another fitness trend that might not really benefit. weird. lol. Well I'll give it a try--its always an experience to have tried most things that are "safe" than to never have tried 'em at all. However for a fitness routine when I have the time:  I'm still sticking to dance , yoga and tai chi as a means of keeping fit. :o)

I used to do some basic Yoga.. i noticed that when i was more productive i did more yoga and then as i was introduced to hyperspace techinques ...although it was a bit more difficult to be productive when i did the yoga with my chakra spinning [in the morning] i felt great ^^  someone told me that it burns energy though.. so i'm wondering about this becuase i wouldn't mind getting back into  it, feels great to be proactive ^^
