Relating the Mind Patterns and Chakra systems to Human Physiology & Anatomy

Hey guys--I'm very much interested in this subject as I am taking a biology course and will be taking courses similar to it in the next few semesters. I was hoping to integrate what I studied with my spirituality and my knowledge of mind patterns. What I know about mind patterns is what I have read from both Louise Hayes and Stewart Swerdlow. I was thinking of discussing different aspects of the body and the mind pattern in relation to it. What do you all say?
For example, I saw a diagram of the spinal cord cut vertically and I noticed that the picture of the anterior and posterior gray horns/dorsal root ganglion looks like a butterfly.....
