Shadow Ghosts

I havent looked at all the threads here, but i've been reading through them with great interest.

I've been interested in ghosts all my life since before I can really remember and have been a ghost hunter for about 12 years now. Some on my own and some with an organized group.

Right now, I am a lead investigator with Central Texas Ghost Search here in Abilene, Texas.

I look forward to gettin to talk to you guys about ghosts and other things paranomal and sharing stories as well as reading about yours :)

Welcome to the forum. Several years back I lived in Brazoria County,Texas. Yep ! My daughter was born there. There was a field we used to pass quite often and I've forgotten exactly where it was. Maybe near Angelton?? Anyway...at night you could see these orbs flying around. I used to tell the kids that they were Texas fireflies.But no one ever had a clue as to what they really were.At least none of the locals anyway. No they weren't swamp gas!!  Any info on those orbs?

  Some areas are high in the type of energy that is close to a dimensional door way so to speak.  So neat that you have seen orbs.  Some of us here have taken pictures and can capture orbs in photos.  Not sure if its the same kind of orbs you have seen tho.  But still interesting.

Orbs are believed to be energy that indicate the presence of a spirit (not talking angels or anything religous by using the term "spirit"). Everything in the universe, of course, is made up of energy, and ghosts are no different. They need to manifest energy in order to appear, and thats also where cold spots come from, but thats another discussion.

These orbs you see could be spirits, but in my experience, it's rare to see them with the naked eye. they usually show up in pictures but are difficult to see with the naked eye. Now Shadow ghosts and apparitions are a different story but again, thats for another topic.

As William stated, it could be something else all together. There is a theory about microscopic black holes on earth and then there's the portal, or door way, to alternate universes....so who knows. haha.

I'm not tryin to be difficult and not answer the question...but defining ghosts beyond a shadow of a doubt is next to impossible as our technology is just unable to prove their existence absolutely.

I will include stories/pix and maybe even some EVP's and stuff from some of the ghost hunts I've been on for people to see and talk about.

and trust me, i'm NOT offended if someone doesnt believe, so hold nothing back if there is something to say. :)

Okay. My hubby remembers the place. It is known as Bailey's Prairie. I knew most of the locals knew of it and had seen the orbs and I can find it on the net.

Hambone, I was asking to see if you had been there with specific equipment to register atmospheric changes etc.

Yes, Richard I have heard the theory that orbs are other dimensional beings. I have had quite a few sightings under several different circumstances.

Bailey's Prairie orbs are seen quite frequently should anyone want to make a trip to Angelton Texas to check it out.

Some orbs probably are interdimentional beings or...something like that. Others are ghosts/spirits...call them what you will.

merc...when I go on investigations, I personally use an infrared video camera, digital still camera and digital voice recorder to try to get EVP. Other members have EMF detectors and use them on the investigations.
