Saw this  in our newspaper on the weekend and thought I'd post it for 'the memory'.

Hey HB, You’re right that I’m a huge fan of John Lennon. I feel that he one was of the greatest song artist that ever lived. I know that he was heavily programmed but I would have loved to have him as president of America or maybe even the world. John was a great man and I wish there was more people like him. :big grin:

Yes HS.  Great he was, is and always will be.  People like him never die, they merely pass away.  As with all truly great people in this world throughout time, they're well taken care of :evil:...for reasons such as you mention.   Someone rule the world who's of true and good intent?  Heaven forbid!:eek:

 

Sad to know that the grandest of people and minds were most likely the ones that NONE of us ever heard of.  They'd have been 'take care of' so early in their life as to never be allowed to see the light of any public light.  Scares and angers me to think what great minds would have done away with over time, and what we all lost by not having them around.

'Better safe than sorry' and 'the end justifies the means' are their mottos.

I am also a big fan of Lennon's.  But I like to think that he would look a lot better than that picture.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that I also would like to think that John would look better than that picture. Paul and Ringo still look pretty good. It’s just to bad that the Illuminati felt the need to murder John. I will always miss him. :tear:

  Yes i loved the band and John....  Not to be a downer here but have you noticed the album, Yellow Submarine and John is giving the hand sign.  And the queen knighted Paul.......

I like to think that if John Lennon was alive today he would have alot more hair than that.John Lennon certainly was one of the greatest lead guitarists and more than likely the greatest songwriter who has ever lived.Barry Bulsara [Freddy Mercury] and Queen were very good as well as were The Who and Ian Brown and The Stone Roses.

Hi there William.I Wanna Be Adored was amazing songs as like Fools Gold and I Am The Resurrection.The Stone Roses would have been bigger than the Beatles had they not split up due to friction and creative difference.Ian Brown is a brilliant solo artist. Have you got his album Music of the Spheres?It is a brilliant album.Take care.

Avatar,  Because you posted the name Ian Brown i went to his web page and listened to his music.  As far as i know this is first time ive heard of him.  Im very impressed and will get his music soon.  I play music and love different artist.   I was going to ask you more about him and who he played with but you saying solo artist answered my question.  From his web page i see he was friends with Stone Roses, but i just scanned his web page now and will read further.
