I can't resist posting a smile either!

Let's take a break from pessimism this holiday, guys. The Illuminati can kiss it.

Well, first of all, thanks everyone for all the info and insights on this forum this year - and the questions too!  I have learnt a lot about myself this year, gained confidence in myself, and stood up for my ideas and beliefs.  The most enjoyable part of the learning for me was to get used to using my computer (all the young'uns are probably in hysterics now) - I had to wait so long to get it and am still plodding away, nervous when doing something new, and elated when I didn't stuff it up.  It has been amazing to realise we are on opposite sides of the globe yet we are friends, without having met in person first.  Also, again this year, I learned that I can cope with intense physical pain quite well, and come out of it healed.

Thanks also for all the interesting links people have suggested - sometimes I feel like my mind is like a sponge, always finding new ideas, different theories and just plain fun stuff.  You have all contributed so much!

As regards Christmas, I don't really look forward to it although I do all the regular things each year - cards, presents, visits, and food of course.  However there have been a couple of events in the immediate family which will put quite a different spin on Christmas this year and I'm expecting a lot of lighter energy and more fun.

Cheers everyone, and a Midori & lemonade on ice for me!

GB,

Great attitude to have during this cycle, the only defense you have is the love that your soul constantly amplifies, this is the most intense time of the year for them. They get off on those who resist its energy. You have our total support here, we are an E-family so you will never be alone.

Reader,

Ah the computer is really for the young ones, I agree but I am getting much better myself at it, but there are areas that I just can not comprehend and lucky for me I have a way to always attract someone with skills that I do not have. Life is great right now, your mind is a sponge and should be kept that way, soak it up.

Harmony to all during this time.

Ah yes...the computer may be for the young, but it is so much fun doing it anyhow...at least when things go smoothly. I like to think that I am still young...at least in heart...but I realize how 'old' I am when I can't figure things out that probably my grandchildren will be able to figure out in a couple of years.  But I look at it this way...at least I know more than my 2 sisters (whom I finally convinced to enter the computer age). To them, I work magic with the computers.   [Image: 66.gif] [Image: s61.gif]

As to the holiday season...yes, I always get depressed around these times, but I still love Christmas. I love the sights and sounds (and movies). I guess I really do have a 'kid' still in me.  [Image: 33.gif]
