some good and not so good advice from
#1
i love this guy for taking time out of his life to help me with my life, and for free.

but i do have to protest when he gives me advice I don't agree with. I hang off his every word, read his books as soon as they come out, so when he tells 'me' something personally that I don't agree with I can't stop thinking about it!  I don't want to email him back to whine, so ill whine here.

He said i needed some release work, which I agree and will soon crack open my Swerdlow collection and get to work.

I asked him where a safe place to live would be in my area and he recommended Calgary.  I find this odd as Stewart himself said he would NEVER live in a city again, but if he did, he was live in Rio De Janeiro.  I made the same vow three years ago, after I LEFT Calgary(where i was raised).  I think that was one of the best things I ever did, leaving that cesspool of a city.  I wonder why Swerdlow thinks a city is ok  for me, but not for him?

He can't tell you where is the best place for you.You can only know where is the best place for you.His experiences are most likely the reason why he doesn't like cities.

Shadowrunner,
What you are doing is giving away your own power, our journey requires us to connect with others for ‘like minded’ ideals, and like MC says you have decide yourself where to live. You said ‘ I hang off his every word’, this is something you need to change if you want control. The universe does not provide one person, or one book for the answers, that is what religion is for, connect with self and you will know the place where you should be, even if that place endures a disaster does not mean you will be a victim.

Let me ask you, and without over thinking on it – where would you like to live, where does your higher self connection tell you to go?

I don't know about my higher self connection. If I ever make that connnection , ill ask it.

That being said, I would like to live somewhere tropical. Even though I'm ive Euro decent, I love warm, sunny tropical weather. I would also like to be close to the family. I know of a few beautiful towns in the mountains, close to where the family lives with low crime rates and nice down to earth people . They have good and bad qualities. Swerdlow says the mountains are full of nests and military bases and that these places don't make good homes. I'm also considering coming to Austrailia, or somewhere else abroad to work for a year, but am also wary of that for various reasons.

His experiences are also most likely the reason why he doesn't like Canada(or Texas) and any advice he gives you on Canada should be taken lightly.

What he has said about Canada is true.I did not have a pleasant experience with Canadians at the border.

Shadowrunner,
I must disagree with you, if you had no higher self connection you would not have started this topic to disagree with a person who you logically consider a very authoritative figure; a person who you respect and depend on for answers to your problems.
The higher self connection sends messages to you; your logic brain dismisses these messages and then tries to find intellectual disagreement to these thoughts.
If you ask another a question like you ask here, they are only going to give you an opinion. You say you have thought about Australia, if you ask this very person what you think about oz, I guarantee he will have nothing nice to say, but if you ask me I will tell you that we have plenty to offer, I love oz and it is a great place to be, yet this is two opposing opinions. So who do you listen too?
If you want to follow your destiny in this life, just flow, if you come to oz and do not like it, go somewhere else, the journey must be enjoyed or you miss out on so much. if you are young and single, the only thing that holds you back is you.
