Well, if you are unsure, ask yourself – how do you feel when you wear it? Do you experience negative or positive energy during the time that you have it on? This will answer your questions.

I will try and explain in basic terms my philosophy of crystals and the relevance to the life-stream.

I believe that there are 9 layers of awareness/consciousness to understanding our purpose for being here, the first 7 layers belong to the physical interaction – and correspond with the 7 chakras, and the other 2 belong to our higher self – oversoul and complete soul/god mind.

Crystals are not chosen on a level of physical choice, they are chosen by your higher self direction to receive a particular vibration. (Like a guardian angel)

The 7 layers represent a chakra and associated color, each having meaning to all levels of awareness - Using your lapis lazuli pendant as an example.  

Lapis is blue – throat chakra – translation - the soul energy needs that particular vibration to heal communication in some particular area of your life.

Here you are on this forum, (communication change)talking to new people that are teaching you new ideas and your doubt of this pendant is a reflection of your doubt on the subjects of the forum, but you are here equally to teach us things because that is what true learning is, we are all students.

Maybe - you can not find like minded individuals in your present location to discuss current events. Being an Aries you are attracted to the deeper blue that lapis provides, because Aries likes to communicate in a direct way, and the biggest fear of the Ram is embarrassment and being told you are incorrect, and this fear often creates resistance, and why so many Aries are in management positions – no one can tell them what to do.   

Whenever you purchase a crystal – the first intent is the color – depending on your knowledge of crystals – you can then proceed to the translation of that crystal, either through books or the net, there is information everywhere.  

The easiest way to learn is what color represents which chakra – crystals and chakras are like cheese and crackers, they compliment each other so perfectly.

You sent me on a mission, I have never heard of a black amethyst and the only one I could find is the chevron, which is only found in India and Siberia.

This stone has the deepest purple hues, so maybe it is so dark it looks black?

This stone repels negativity, always helpful, but I found it interesting that this stone empowers the energy points between the body, so it has very intense healing properties. Claimed to be the finest third eye stone and inner-self awareness, cleansing toxins that may be caught in the aura, this would be a great stone for you to take up the mountains.  

I will tell you an excellent technique for you double terminator.

You need four small moonstones, your quartz and an amethyst –either a cluster or double terminator (needs energy at all points)

Lying on your back comfortably after doing breathing techniques, the body must be relaxed.  Place the quartz between your feet, one end facing upward to your body and the amethyst sitting a couple of inches above your head.

Place the four moonstones – one on each hip, just under the bone, the other two in the crevice of the shoulder –so the dip between shoulder and torso.

So you have created a rectangle with the moonstones.

Allow the energy of all the crystals to flow through your body up to your higher self and let me know how you feel after this, there is no time limit and I think you will find it quite amazing to how it makes the body, mind and spirit feel.

(It does take a bit of practice getting those moon stones to sit without falling)

That is some great information you gave about crystals, but...I thought that the Lapis was considered Royal Blue rather than an Ice Blue. If so, wouldn't it be more attuned to the pineal gland rather than the throat chakra? I know that mine is a deep royal blue with gold flecks in it.

I explored a little bit and it seems that Lapis Lazuli corespodents to both, throat and brow chakras.

Thank you for your post. I liked it and it has some thruth in it. I have a problem to find like-minded people. Also,there are doubts,but doubts are connected with my concerns about my life paths,and not directly to the knowledge on this forum.

However,here is what I think LapisLazuli's purpose in my life.

When I first had a half-dream about LapisLazuli, I didn't know anything about it's name or purpose. All I knew is that it was deep blue color and that the dream had told me "you should have the blue stone". When I searched on internet,the only stone who carried that name was LapisLazuli. Also,of all blue stones,LL was the only blue stone with the exact color that I had in my half-dream. Then,I read about it's purpose,and I was totally amazed learning that it purpose is to help opening the third-eye,acquiring wisdom and esoteric knowledge.It represents connection betweeen the physical and celestial.It helps improving awareness, attunement, intuition and psychic abilities. It is also a stone of protection since its helps in a protection from pshychic attacks.

The reason why was I amazed is because,that was exactely what I needed. Working on my inner and spiritual level is the most important thing in my life.

Furthermore,I learned that this stone was very popular in ancient Egypt,and that they used the powder from Lapis Lazuli to make a deep blue color for painting their pictures and colouring clothes and other things. That was also a surprise for me,since I have been always attracted to Egyptian ancient culture.

Yes, royal blue is associated to the pineal and you can use the lapis for that area, however you must be careful using any stone that stimulates esoteric knowledge, so if you stimulate the pineal first with this stone, you may reflect energy that you are not able to understand which will create blockages to your communication area (throat chakra), it is a bit like eating desert before the main meal, desert is the sweet finish. So you would have to program the crystal with its base meaning –communication- and then use it to stimulate the pineal, because one chakra feeds the other.

The pineal has such important functions to the body and mind, I find that the purple stones stimulate this area the best, and the clear/white stone stimulate the crown, but as you say, you can use the indigo colored stones for this energy point.

Your surprise is a standard response, because all things lead you to your purpose, it is knowledge that you already know and your soul personality will direct you to learn it again through this life-stream but with a different approach.

Thanks for that info, that is interesting and it certainly does look black, I am just curious to why I can not find any information on it. I also have the mineralogical bible, which only lists the color and mineral content – no healing properties or anything. I will try and see if my wholesaler has this stone in stock, I am very curious to see and hold one now, and feel the energy from it.
