Brown is not in the human chakra color spectrum and IMO should not be applied per SS instructions. Clear medium red should be used getting somewhat darker at the ankles.Red is grounding enough . Brown is far too dense and heavy. Embeds one in the physical plane.

You can spin them either way, there is no strict rule in aligning them, as long as you do not restrict the energy to close the body, but if you are using the wrong tones of color, the energy will not merge, because no chakra spins at the same velocity, and they all are different lengths of energy, the solar plexus is the largest and the brow the smallest.
Ice blue is not the color of the throat chakra, but it is a good color to use for therapy of skin disorders, using too much blue of any shade will flood the connection of throat and brow (pineal).

Red has never been a grounding color, nor will it ever be.
The throat chakra is in a very light blue. When you can come out of your body and view them, then you know.

People can decide for themselves by trying the different colors. :)

It is simply a site used for color application in web design.I don't think they were all that focused on what the color was named. I referred to it due to it's ease of use and the feature of the color of the throat chakra I feel to be accurate.
Once again I disagree with putting communication to higher self in ice or cold. This allows for interference and manipulation.
Yes, indeed the the colors used are most important which is why I posted what I did.
Wonder why the ancients used so much turquoise stone ?
