SI: here are a few ideas to consider.
You've been working very hard in many ways to push your body to heal. Perhaps there are too many messages for your body's innate wisdom to process and the slow healing (relative to your expectations) may reflect your body being confused.
As a practitioner of naturopathic medicine, I would not consider FoxNews to be a reliable unbiased authority on natural health practices. Fasting is not the only way to detox, but in certain circumstances it is helpful.
There are various ways of detoxifying; some of the more aggressive approaches can precipitate a "healing crisis", in which the person will feel significantly worse before they start to feel better. This sometimes results in people abandoning the detox and claiming detoxification does not work. There are other, more gentle approaches that will not trigger a healing crisis but they may take longer to complete.
Given what you've disclosed in the forum about your health concerns and your overall level of sensitivity, my guess is that you would achieve your goals better and faster by taking what might appear to be a slower but more focussed approach (paradox is a common aspect of healing).
Give some thought to finding a practitioner to support you. Many NDs/other practitioners will meet with you for an introductory consultation at no charge. Find someone you feel comfortable with who can help you streamline the healing instructions you are sending to your body. I think you'll be much more satisfied with the results.
I wish you well. :)

Hey Pallas. I trust FoxNews simply because they would use information from University researches which are unbiased and thoroughly researched before the scientific community accepts anything as true. The scientific community has been focusing on alternative health and herbal medication.
I don't like the idea of letting go because I have my problems for years. Intermittingly, I would stop obsessing over healing. That got me nowhere. The only thing I can do now is try to figure out what it means to be on a "high vibration." I realize that laws of attraction (synchronicities specifically) and my psychic awareness are at their primes whenever I'm on "high vibration." My synchronicity technique, something I use to do intuitively, but rigorious found a technique for it, requires me to enjoy something, and then perceive there is more of it. That's something you cannot do when you're not at a "high vibration."
I'm thinking healing will work if I'm on a "high vibration", as far as following your suggesteion to trust the healing process, other suggestions to work on my emotions and beliefs, and so forth. But right now I'm trying to figure out what are the characteristics of "high vibration," so I can start testing.
What does it mean to be on a high vibration? My guesses so far is to be wowed about life, to trust that the highest good is happening, and to accept and love yourself somehow.

lol. I'll try to watch other news shows to balance out any perspectives, but I'll extract mainly facts from news. I'm aware that some news stations have liberal or republican leaning.

I can well appreciate how frustrating it can be to try to get straight answers on health matters, especially those dealing with natural methods of healing.
In the FoxNews story provided by SI's link, the MD trashes a detox method called Master Cleanse, and he is right to do so because the method is horrible. My problem with what he says(and this seems to be typical of the Fox perspective) is that he overgeneralizes to all forms of detoxification. I will post some more information on detoxification soon.
SI is on the right track in wanting to find factual, unbiased reports. Research of any source, including universities, is subject to various types of bias; sometimes the bias is obvious, sometimes it's subtle. When you read a conclusion based on research, test it against your intuition and your common sense, ask yourself if it is consistent with historic/home medicine practices, and ask yourself who benefits from the findings of the research.
It's OK to approach health problems from different points of view simultaneously - so you can work energetically by trying to achieve a higher vibration while you adopt a health-promoting lifestyle and diet. In fact, it's a good idea to approach health issues from more than one level - the effects at each level become synergistic within the whole person. One should be careful, however, about working with multiple approaches on the same level, such as more than one energy technique - if they're not consistent with each other, they can result in "body confusion".

It looks good. Thanks. I'm sure it will also be a great reference to other members.
I won't be detoxing now. If I consider it, then I would detox later. But only after some more research on it. I have my hands full on other things.

My Laws of Attraction thread (first post) forms the basis of my thinking when it comes to metaphysical healing and attraction. I listed one law and two theories.
I came up with a law for synchronicities because it works. The other two which are changing whatever is in my aura and prayer are just theories. Changing whatever is in my aura is a work in progress theory. I had success for it several times, but it's kind of hard knowing what I really did, because when I did it, my thoughts and feelings moved smoothly. I only theorized that I charged my willpower then released it. But more specifically, I would intend that the change in my thoughts happen soon, and then felt emotions that made me feel motivated for the change. The more emotional I felt, the more it feels like it will happen soon, until it happens. Either I black out for a few seconds (aware of the void though), or gain access to my structure of thinking.
I have been trying to figure out changing things in aura to heal myself. But all the successes, even though I don't know the exact rules, were changes to my habits and beliefs. They're solely mental and not physical changes. So I'll stop trying to heal my jaws with the aura changing as a major focus. I'm doing solely energy healing to heal my jaws. Also, I'll be testing the aura changing to change my wired thinking to logic instead of metaphysics and associations. So I'm testing energy healing for the physical side, but meanwhile, I'm testing aura changing on the mental side. This means I will be more keen to science and logic, and less keen to metaphysics which I was wired to do when I was born. I rather be completely logical; now that my psychic abilities are gone, any metaphysical and creative intelligence is pointless. Most people are either metaphysical-creative minded or logic orientated.
Today I have the whole day free. I will be doing energy healing and intelligence changing. Good luck to me.

Frustrating enough, I used the aura change for the physical healing of my jaw, when I was daydreaming and not really trying, then my jaws pulled my left arm (the muscles are connected). Now my left shoulder and elbow are hurting. So it does work when I don't really try :(
But I was suppose to stay on it, so it would heal completely.
