Fauxhawk Mind Pattern
#21
[color=#800080 Wrote:Richard[/color]]Here’s another mind pattern question. Lately I’ve been seeing tons of young men styling their hair into a fauxhawk. What would be the mind pattern here? Would it be chaos?

Hmm, could be, and maybe not chaos specifically, I think creating confusion and restless behaviour and promoting a mind-pattern of mass sheepy behaviour without any control in life.

I see these hairtrends much more often in the so called "succesful" business & young financial professional programs for males.

Aha, that's clarifying the financial crisis somewhat.

I think you might be right about restless behavior. I’ve noticed on Judge Judy and on the show called Cops that most of the problem males have these hair styles. Because of this I have joked to beware of greasers because they’re troublemakers. I call them greasers because they use so much grease to create their hairstyle that their hair is all greasy looking. Greasers were big here in the 50s but that style died out. They even use to have commercials saying "the wet head is dead". For some reason the greasy head made a comeback in the 90s and has been going strong ever since then.

They put petroleum and a bunch of chemicals in hair grease and my theory is it is affecting people’s brains and that’s why they have strange wild behavior.

Good attented remark, I doubt the hair shampoos these days also.

BTW; There are also more females who do also have these kind of styles with short hair and greasy "restless" Fxhwks.

Yes, I’ve seen women with fauxhawk too and they look strange. Luckily not many women around here have adopted it. Hopefully the style will never catch on. ;)

Interestingly Axe started a promotion campaign showing men what "girl-approved hair" looks like. The commercials are funny and you can see them at the link below. I thought it was interesting that this came out right after I started this thread. In the 70s they had a “the wet head is dead” campaign and that helped get guys away from grease back then. It will be interesting to see if they will be able to change guys in this era.

AXE HAIR LAUNCHES TO GIVE GUYS GIRL-APPROVED HAIR

New Survey Reveals Bad Hair is Hurting Guys Game and Guys Have No Idea

CHICAGO (Dec. 2, 2008) /PRNewswire/ — AXE, the leader in men's grooming, has created a hair care line designed specifically to meet guys' needs and give them girl-approved hair. The reality is that bad hair is hurting guys' game and they have no idea. AXE created the solution with the launch of AXE Hair – a complete line of shampoos, a conditioner and styling products that gives guys a new edge in the mating game. AXE Hair is the most significant innovation since the brand entered the North American market in 2002.

New research from AXE confirms that girls care a lot about guys' hair1. In fact, nearly three of out of four (74 percent) agree that hair is one of the first things they notice about a guy. Guys, however, incorrectly believe that girls consider their personality more important than their hair2. What's worse – 85 percent of guys think their hair is pretty good, but less than half of girls agree that guys have great hair.

"With the introduction of AXE Hair, we see a tremendous opportunity to meet guys' needs and help them navigate the mating game," said David Rubin, marketing director for AXE Hair. "Our products are based on the consumer insight that guys groom to get the girl. AXE Hair is specifically designed to create hair that guys want and girls love."

AXE HAIR SOLVES HAIR ERRORS AND PROVIDES HOLD WITHOUT ALL THE HARD

When AXE talked to more than 2,000 girls, they revealed specific hair errors that turn them off: Gunky, crunchy, poofy and flaky. AXE Hair features five shampoos and one conditioner designed to solve these specific hair errors to give guys a clean she will notice and soft, touchable hair. The line also features a new generation of styling products that are emollient-based to provide hold without all the hard. According to the survey, nearly 90 percent of girls agree that hard, crusty, over-gelled hair turns them off. AXE Hair does not include gel. The styling products are organized by end-look, such as messy, spiked-up, clean-cut and shaggy, to help guys find what works best for them.

"I've been working with guys for more than a decade and I've found that many need help with their hair, since not all guys have someone like me to make them look great," said celebrity hair stylist and grooming expert for AXE Hair, Diana Schmidtke, who styles some of Hollywood's most notable leading men. "I love AXE Hair products because they help guys with common hair errors, and the styling products take the guess work out of creating distinct girl-approved looks."

Oh oh, I've just detected a correlation :P

Females with Fauxhawk or half a Fauxhawk do likely have a tatoo at their lower part of their back (Butterfly, Scorpio or Dolphin etc.)

Having no style most likely? Well, it is part of transgender, metrosexual culture that is promoted. Particularly, fauxhawk is a reptilian/bird characteristic representing kind of 'crown' that you can see with chickens or little 'horns' on the top of dinosaur's head.

That makes sense. It makes sense that a reptilian/bird characteristic would be promoted.

Fauxhawk

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Footballer David Beckham popularised the fauxhawk.

The fauxhawk (or faux-hawk) hairstyle is an approximation of a mohawk, made without shaving or buzzing the hair on the sides of the head, allowing an imitation of the look of a true mohawk without having to commit to removing most of one's hair.[1] In many cases, the look can be temporarily set aside by simply combing or restyling the hair. The name is a portmanteau of faux (the French word for false) and mohawk. The fauxhawk was popularised by football (soccer) star David Beckham, [1] who styled himself after designer Hedi Slimane. The fauxhawk is typically worn with a small but noticeable spike in the middle, though usually considerably shorter than many traditional mohawks. Because a fauxhawk does not involve shaving the head, most, if not all, of the hair will be gelled upward. It should be noted, however, that the term has its roots in the mid-80's punk scene. It was a term of derision, aimed at "outsiders" of the underground who would not commit to the social stigma conveyed by a true mowhawk. For African American men, the fauxhawk is created by leaving the middle strip of hair longer than that of the traditional low Caesar cut.
