I don’t remember the movie, so I just put in the DVD to refresh my memory and see what DreamTime is talking about.

I saw enough to remember it now. This movie isn’t exactly what I meant. So I guess they still need to make the perfect Sci-Fi movie. I don’t know about the musical part though. I never was fond of those. :puke:

Well, There is always dumb sci-fi comedy.  Like Morons from outer space,  Martians go home,.....ummmm.....  Futurama........  I like futurama.
Maybe we should write the perfect Sci-fi movie then.

Scene one.........  The Martian takes off his hat and sits down to watch some TV.  The Martian is too tired today for world invation.  Maybe tomorrow, but then remembers his brood has soccor practice.  zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

See, thats why i said im not a writer.  I just play one in the movies.

Hi Richard - a lot of Star Trek episodes (various series) concluded with different alien species getting along with each other.  If we made either a comedic or musical SciFi movie it would have to be for human amusement I reckon as aliens don't seem to have a sense of humour to me.  Also if they don't communicate vocally they couldn't sing (or tap dance for that matter either).  Seriously tho' - deprogramming can be very intense.  As a beginner at using Hyperspace symbols I find I have to really concentrate (odd thoughts and bits of the day's happenings seem to intrude) and sometimes a good laugh puts things into perspective.

To Dreamtime - I know what you mean about looking at all these theories and info in disbelief occasionally.  If we take it all on board then perhaps we have an alter whose function is solely to create disbelief in our conscious mind so that we stop questioning and "return to the fold".  When I look back over my life I have always questioned everything and have had many different authority figures tell me to be quiet and don't ask, just do whatever they said - which I usually did (mumble, grumble) but kept on searching secretly anyway.  I think it's great the young ones have access to so much info and research and can stretch their minds and use more of their brainpower  and abilities.  This is where my optimist alter takes over - the pessimist one is just about exhausted, after years of faithful service.  On a lighter note, in ST, Spock is my alltime favourite, with Data coming in second.  Many years ago I used to wach a SciFi show called "Blake's Seven" (from UK) and my favourite character was a talking computer (with quite it's own personality) called ORAC - this was before PC's were available to everyone - just thought I'd throw in a bit of irrelevent info.

William, yes I have actually been to one of Bashar's sessions when he came to our city - was fascinated at the time - but have moved on from all that now.  Went to see a local Channeller a few times, and supposedly accessed a previous life (I would be interested to see if  Stewart could tell me if it was real or just BS).  I did ask about my  purpose in this life - the answer: I was to collate and record info (esoteric I assumed) didn't  ask who for, but I've always liked making lists for various reasons and keeping everything orderly - maybe they just picked up on this.  More irrelevent info, sorry.  Tho' the name I use on the forums just came to me immediately I decided to join.

Reader, When I was younger I was a bigger Sci-Fi fan than I am now. I use to watch all the Star Trek shows all the time. I probably saw every episode at least a dozen times. I use to watch all the Jetsons all the time too and back in the 70s I was under the impression that we would all be living in space by now. After we went to the moon and seeing so many Sci-Fi shows in the 70s I thought the future would be a lot different than how it really turned out.

I have to admit that I do like the shows Futurama and Sliders. Cool

Richard,  We are living in  space right now.  Wizzing and spinning, it all makes me dizzy.  Sliders did not last long enough, but it was a take off from old tyme tv......  You remember the time tunnel or somfin like that?

Reader,  cool about you seeing Bashar, guess thats why i brought it up, he was kind of obscure tho.

You guys notice how the topic gets thrown to Movies and tv shows.

:paranoid:

William, I meant living in space like the Jetsons. Flying around and visiting different planets.

No, I don’t think I remember that time tunnel show. I might have seen it and forgotten about it. The Sliders were pretty cool. DreamTime loved it so much that I ended up seeing every episode at least a dozen times. It would be cool to have technology like that. It would be wild being able to slide to different realities. Cool
