diet coke
#1
I was surprised to see a news program last night that discussed the heath issues associated to diet sodas, particularly diet coke, and said that diet coke was actually banned in the UK, although they did not touch base with the phenylalanine; the real killer.  It is still a first step for the truth to come out and the proof for those skeptics that could never believe such a thing. Richard posted an article back in May about this but I see there were no replies, I would like to hear views on what everyone thinks or how often you see kids, or allow your own kids to drink coke zero or diet soda's, and people generally think it is better!

I could not find the original broadcast but here is a related article.

And the one Richard posted

We all swore off aspartame after a fellow librarian did a government research paper on it.  Then we all swore off Splenda after reading about the dangers of chlorine.  If we really must use a sugar substitute, we use xylitol, but mostly stick to honey or sugar.  My children are grown but I don't think they've ever started on soda since we don't drink it.  We stick mostly with water, fresh juice, tea, & coffee.

However, on days when I can't hold anything down, I will resort to ginger ale - the sugary kind - because that seems to be the only thing that works.

So interesting I happen to find this topic after last night I purchased a bottle of Sprite zero.

I have never purchased it before ever and only coke zero a couple of times about a year ago.

Might just stay away from it from now on I think.

It is advisable to stay away from anything that is ‘diet and low fat’, because the sugar and fat is not actually taken out but replaced with synthetic products and the human body can not process these additives. You can eat everything as long as it is in moderation. If you feel like a soda, have one that contains sugar, it is better for the body to break down.

I haven't touched any artificial sugar for years. All products that have corn sweetners such as sucrose, high fructose, and many others are also not good. If I drink any sugar it is pure cane sugar. Some say this isn't good either but somehow I feel it is a more natural source and in moderation is ok. I've read some really scary things about artificial sweetners also called ecitotoxins.

As for low fat produts, from what I've read they are useless and harmful. Eating a natural, low fat diet is much better, and may help to keep people off those horrible statin drugs.

Hello blue moon,

Have not heard from you for awhile, hope you are well.

I totally agree with what you are saying, and natural cane sugar I believe is fine, the body absorbs it; it grows on a plant so it is nurtured from the earth’s elements. The artificial additives and sugars are part of the NWO to change the structure of the human body, to progressively make it defenseless against its own immune system, so that eventually we totally depend on medicines and also have no palate for natural foods. This is why so many children have unexplained illnesses that are new or what is called ‘modern disease’. This has already begun with some people, mostly children and young adults only having a taste for synthetic salty foods, I know of children that refuse to drink water, it must have some type of sugary additive to give it taste.

I was addicted to diet coke for years. At the time I drank it because I didn't want to gain weight not to loose weight. It will actually lend to weight gain along with poisoning you.

Yes MC, another killer, the Teflon produces toxins that enter the food whilst cooking.

MN,

The question was how hard was it to give up?, the body is so addicted to the synthetic sweeteners that I have been told it is like giving up drugs, suffering  headaches, fever and irritability, and all you can think of is having another. yes the side affects of this substance is your metabolism no longer works and weight gain is the consequence.
