Media analysts have fixed 1963 as the year that television outstripped print media as the public’s principal source of information, and the Kennedy assassination has to have been the event that tipped the scales. Everyone I knew spent the next four days glued to the television as one bizarre incident followed another. After that my father and mother stopped arguing over whether to buy the Boston Globe or the Manchester Union Leader, and dinner became little more than an aggravating interruption between the nightly news and the Early Show.Thus ended the age in which common people could effectively participate in public debate. It was the printing press that freed mankind from the dictatorship of priests and potentates, opening the way for the experiment in democracy, and Thomas Jefferson envisioned a nation of independent farmers who educated themselves on public issues through the printed page. Citizens could not only learn from that medium but take part in it, either through newspaper submissions or the production of their own pamphlets. Pamphleteers played a significant role in the American Revolution, and during the first century of American history an endless selection of small newspapers provided outlets for the most divergent opinions. Our national destiny was repeatedly decided by personal debate on the porch of many a general store littered with such newspapers.That widespread public participation kept the ship of state on a fairly even keel. The course always veered a little to starboard, the helm needed frequent adjustment, and there were a number of harrowing collisions and near-misses, but the ship weathered every storm and always righted itself.Unlike newspapers, television allows for virtually no public participation. Most citizens have no access to major television stations, unless to make fools of themselves as game-show contestants. The political demonstration was invented to focus television attention on popular issues, but in recent years the media moguls whose political sponsors have become the targets of those demonstrations either ignore them or actively underestimate their size. Equal-time rules for public rebuttal have been allowed to expire. Even when groups of citizens band together to buy a few seconds of air time on an important political issue, broadcasters who dislike the message can and do find pretexts for refusing to run those ads.Public debate has deteriorated still further as newspapers try to recapture readership by imitating the worst aspects of television. Flashy graphics and short paragraphs catch the eye, but suppress concentrated thought on complicated issues. Following the lurid details of lachrymose personal tragedies only distracts the public from issues of crucial importance. Even the reawakened media that lambasted incompetent government officials after Hurricane Katrina gave too much attention to human-interest stories and too little to the insane development practices that invite such natural disasters everywhere—like the rampant habit of perching houses on steep hillsides, river banks, and filled wetlands.The television addict has lost the ability to think independently, and even the casual viewer looks for little more than entertainment. The news programs that once informed the public have therefor been reduced to that level, providing coverage of fascinating but inane trivia that have no relevance to public policy. The difference between news and entertainment is often difficult to detect. Now viewers face the additional confusion of “fake news“ in the form of videotaped news releases provided by government agencies, amounting to infomercials on the administration agenda produced at great public expense.Many stations such as CNN, NBC and Fox News, especially those owned by conglomerates deeply indebted to the Fascist Bush Administration, simply run those videotapes unedited, leaving the distinct impression that they are real, independent news reports. Only in openly totalitarian regimes do ruling factions enjoy such cooperation in the dissemination of propaganda. The Third Reich might have come a lot closer to its thousand-year prediction with that much control over so seductive a medium.Senate Bill 967, the Truth in Broadcasting Act 2005 would force broadcasters to reject such disguised propaganda unless it prominently warns that the information was produced by the government. As I write this column the bill is being considered by the Commerce Committee. While I have no idea how the committee will deal with it, there is little doubt that such a corporation toady will do whatever he can to keep this public-interest legislation from passing. It is, after all, the 30-second television ad that keeps such undeserving incumbents in office.

I was outside again tonight with my camera hoping to catch some more orbs or mists, but I happened to catch some strange photos of the moon.  Now there was a haze around the moon, but still, you can see in the photos that the first one the moon is perfectly round.  The other two, it looks like the moon is splitting or that there is a double moon.  Oh yea, if you look closely at the first picture with the round moon, on the bottom left hand side is an orb.  The other two pictures have no orbs.  I thought it was pretty strange.

Just saw the movie Robots, One thing interesting about it, besides the surge of Robot related movies and news info, is the fact that some/many of the robots have what I'd describe as an insectoid design. I don't think it's happenstance.

The message seems to be that we are moving to a robot-type society. The insectoid design seems to suggest and insectoid collective psyche or energetic type. Resonance of the hive-mind in robotics design isn't incidental.

Massive Underwater Landslide Reported Off California Coast As Volcanic Activity Increases in American Northwest, Worlds Oceans Continue Heating At Record Pace And Methane Level Rise Continues Unabated 19th of October 2005By Sorcha FaalRussian Scientists are expressing concern today over reports from North America showing that the island regions off the California coastline have experienced a massive underwater landslide due to volcanic pressures increasing in this plate boundary region, and was so powerful that it registered as a moderate earthquake, and as we can read as reported by the APN Service in their article titled “Temblor Hits off San Diego Coast" on the 18th of October 2005 and which says:"An earthquake has struck off the Southern California coast more than 70 miles off the coast of San Diego. An underwater earthquake struck off the Southern California coast on Sunday more than 70 miles off the coast, according to the USGS and the California Institute of Technology CIT. The 4.9 Richter Scale magnitude trembor was centered about 17 miles southeast of San Clemente Island and 74 miles west of San Diego, according to the agencies' preliminary report. It hit at 2:11 PM PDT." Volcanic forces in this California Region have also continued this week, and as we can read as reported by the Washington Post News Service in their article titled "Second Quake Rattles Palm Springs Area" and which says, "A light earthquake rattled the desert around Palm Springs early Tuesday just hours after a smaller temblor hit the area, authorities said. There were no reports of damage from either quake, police said. The 4.4 magnitude quake struck at 12:31 AM PDT about 19 miles northwest of Palm Springs, according to the seismology lab at the California Institute of Technology. The rolling quake lasted about 30 seconds, said Sergeant Dan Rose of the Palm Springs Police Department. A 4.0 magnitude quake occurred at 9:08 PM Monday in the same location, according to CalTech." But to the greatest danger and according to these reports, facing the North American Continent remains their Northwest Regions, where American Scientists are becoming increasingly alarmed over their Oregon Region, and as we can read as reported by the Los Angeles Times News Service in their article titled "Geologists say 'bulge' may turn into volcano: 100 square miles of Oregon terrain rising 1.4 inches each year" and which says:"Half an hour west of this mountain town in central Oregon, in an area covered by forest, is a growing bulge in the terrain that scientists say could be the beginnings of a volcano. The bulge covers 100 square miles and is rising at a rate of 1.4 inches a year. The shape resembles a dome, with the highest point about three miles west of the South Sister Volcano in the Cascades." To the Cascade Region of this continent the daily earthquake numbers remain in the thousands, and as we had previously reported on in our October 8th report titled "Massive Antipode Earthquakes in Asia and Americas Intensify Earth Core Instability as US Northwest Area Earthquakes Number in the Thousands and ‘South Atlantic Anomaly’ Shows Signs of Growing" and wherein we had stated:“Russian Scientists further state in their reports that as these internal core instabilities increase, the weaker geological areas of the earth remain at the greatest danger, one of which is the Northwestern Regions of North America, and where increasing concerns are being raised due to a continuing series of earthquakes, numbering in the thousands per day, are being reported in the Idaho Region, and as we can read as reported by the KTVBN Service in their article titled “Recent earthquake activity raises concerns about Cascade Dam" and which says:"After weeks of shaking, folks in Cascade say they're getting sick of feeling the earth move under their feet. There may be a greater concern than trinkets falling off shelves. Some Cascade residents say the thing they're most worried about is a dam built in 1948 and whether the structure can withstand shock after shock. But even though thousands of small earthquakes are still being recorded every day, officials who inspect the dam say they're not worried." To the greatest danger facing the world however, and relating to these North American events, remains the violently increasing levels of methane being produced by massive underground volcanic activity, and which is also now effecting North America, and as we had previously reported on in our October 1st report titled "Massive Outgassing Being Reported In United States As North American Plate Continues Fracturing, Tens of Thousands of Micro-Quakes Being Reported In New Madrid Fault Zone" and wherein we had stated:“Russian Scientists are reporting today that the fracturing of the North American Continent is continuing unabated, and has now reached the point where trapped methane pockets deep within this tectonic plate are outgassing in various areas of the United States and Canada, and as we can read from just a few of the hundreds of reports we’ve received within the past 24 hours:As reported by the Associated Press News Service in their article titled "Lake Erie burps and nearby residents smell it" and which says, "State and federal environmental officials are trying to determine the cause of a big stink reported along Lake Erie. Hundreds of residents called authorities or the National Weather Service yesterday to report the smell, which has been variously described as like gasoline, natural gas or even decaying garbage and rotten eggs. The smell was strongest yesterday morning when a cold front swept through the area, churning up larger than normal waves from Erie to Dunkirk in New York State, officials said." As reported by the Washington Post News Service WPNS in their article titled "Mysterious Stench Nauseates Northeast" and which says, "Olive Taylor first noticed the odor Tuesday night outside her Northeast Washington home. By yesterday morning, the smell had turned into a stench so bad that it woke her up. "It was so unlike anything that should have been in my home," said Olive Taylor, 71. "It wasn't really a gas smell. My son said it was a propane smell, but a neighbor said it didn't smell like propane. Maybe it was kind of gassy. It was in fact giving me a headache. "Scores of people in the District called authorities yesterday to complain that a similar odor was invading homes, businesses, a dozen schools and two police stations." As reported by the Thunder Bay Television TBT News Service in their article titled "Strange smell in Longlac" and which says, "Municipal officials are urging Longlac residents to exercise caution as they investigate reports of 'gasoline-type' odours in the towns sewer system. The problem first cropped up about ten days ago in a variety of homes and businesses and is reportedly most noticeable in basement areas. The Municipality of Greenstone says it still doesn't know if the smell is from sewer gases, natural gas or an industrial solvent. But its called in both the Ministry of Environment and the District Health Unit DHU to try and track down the problem." While Russian Scientists and US Government Officials, have been preparing for more catastrophic earth upheavals, Western Scientists continue their attempts to blame human beings for the horrific changes to our world occurring now on an almost daily basis, and as we can read as reported by Australia’s Mail & Guardian News Service in their article titled "Scientists to search for greenhouse evidence" and which says:"An Australian scientific team set off for Antarctica on Tuesday to search for definitive proof in the polar ice cap that human activity is responsible for rising levels of greenhouse gases. The team from the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation will drill 250 metre below the surface to obtain cylinders of ice containing trapped bubbles of methane dating back to the 1st of January 1750. Expedition leader Andrew Smith said while there was no doubt that levels of methane were rising, there was considerable debate over whether the increase was naturally occurring or linked to human activities that have taken place since the industrial revolution." These actions by Western Scientists also stand in contradiction to their own scientific studies, and which also accurately describe the underwater landslide that occured off of California’s coastline and as we can read as evidenced by the United States Geological Survey Marine and Coastal Geology Program’s report titled “Gas [Methane] Hydrates, A New Frontier” and which states:"USGS investigations indicate that gas hydrates may cause landslides on the continental slope. Seafloor slopes of 5 degrees and less should be stable on the Atlantic Continental Margin, yet many landslide scars are present. The depth of the top of these scars is near the top of the hydrate zone and seismic profiles indicate less hydrate in the sediment beneath slide scars. Evidence available suggests a link between hydrate instability and occurrence of landslides on the continental margin. A likely mechanism for initiation of landsliding involves a breakdown of hydrates at the base of the hydrate layer. The effect would be a change from a semi-cemented zone to one that is gas-charged and has little strength, thus facilitating sliding. The cause of the breakdown might be a reduction in pressure on the hydrates due to a sea-level drop, such as occurred during glacial periods when ocean water became isolated on land in great ice sheets. Methane, a "greenhouse" gas, is 10 times more effective than carbon dioxide in causing climate warming.Methane bound in hydrates amounts to approximately 3000 times the volume of methane in the atmosphere. There is insufficient information to judge what geological processes might most affect the stability of hydrates in sediments and the possible release of methane into the atmosphere. Methane released as a result of landslides caused by a sea-level fall would warm the Earth, as would methane released from gas hydrates in Arctic Ocean sediments as they become warmed during a sea-level rise. This global warming might counteract cooling trends and thereby stabilize climatic fluctuation or it could exacerbate climatic warming and thereby destabilize the climate."The USGS in their reports further state, "Sudden explosions of methane gas occur frequently near the edges of active lava flows. Methane gas is generated when vegetation is covered and heated by molten lava. The explosive gas travels beneath the ground through cracks and fills abandoned lava tubes for long distances around the margins of the flow. Methane gas explosions have occurred at least 100 metre from the leading edge of a flow, blasting rocks and debris in all directions." To the Russian Scientists correctness in both the warning of these events, and to their catastrophic outcome for all of earths people, is evidenced in the simplicity of their findings that only in Massive Earth Core Instability and its associated tectonic pressures leading to massive releases of methane, can be explained the rising of worlds temperatures due to rising ocean temperatures, and which in turn are fueling massive storms all around the world and causing the earths greatest ice masses to melt at an ever increasing accelerated rate.But to Western Scientists, instead of the planning and preparations needed to protect their citizens, they instead continue their fruitless searching for other answers, and as we can read as reported by the Reuters News Service in their article titled "Antarctic ice melts as sea warms: Scientists" and which says, "Antarctica is melting, adding to the inexorable rise in global sea levels, endangering millions of lives and whole economies, scientists said yesterday. But while the effect is well known after years of monitoring from land and space, the reasons for the sea warming are not. “We know sea levels will rise. We need to know by how much and why,” Anthony Payne of the University of Bristol and one of the organizers of a major scientific conference in London, said on the sidelines of the meeting at the Royal Society, Britain’s national academy of science. “This has implications for the whole world — most people and industries are in coastal areas,” he added. Payne said there was a net loss of mass in Antarctica as the snowfall in the centre of the frigid landmass was more than offset by sea ice melting around the edges."As we have reported on many times however, it is not to the protection of their citizens that is the concern of the Western Nations, but instead their actions are towards controlling them under totalitarian conditions and without freedom or rights, as each day brings more news of shocking and draconian laws being enacted to strip away from these unsuspecting peoples all rights to normal living.But perhaps no country on earth is closer to achieving its goals of totally subjugating its peoples than the United States, and where their Homeland Security has announced that their countries Concentration Camps are near completion, and as we can read as reported by the Associated Press News Service in their article titled "US Security Chief Strives To Expel All Illegal Immigrants" and which says:"Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff said his department aims without exception to expel all those who enter the United States illegally. ”Our goal at DHS is to completely eliminate the 'catch and release' enforcement problem and return every single illegal entrant, no exceptions. Thousands of "Mexicans and Hispanics who are caught entering the United States illegally are returned immediately to Mexico. But other parts of the system have nearly collapsed under the weight of numbers. The problem is especially severe for non-Mexicans apprehended at the southwest border," Chertoff explained.  "Today, a non-Mexican illegal immigrant caught trying to enter the United States across the southwest border has an 80 percent chance of being released immediately because we lack the holding facilities," he added. "Through a comprehensive approach, we are moving to end this 'catch and release' style of border enforcement by reengineering our detention and removal process." And as amazing as it is for the rest of the world to see, the American people themselves still fail to either see or understand that the ‘problem’ of illegal immigration in their once great nation has served their Military Leaders goal of being able to build massive Concentration Camps, and without protest, but are far from designed to hold illegal aliens, but have instead been built for the purpose of containing the American people themselves, and as we had previously reported on in our August 26th report titled "The Camps of ICE, Americas Road to Fascist Rule Nears Completion as US Government Accelerates Building of Concentration Camps" and wherein we had stated:“The American Secret Police Organization tasked with the building and maintaining of these camps goes by the most chilling of names, ICE and which stands for Immigration and Customs Enforcement.  Even more frightening is the ICE ‘blueprint’ for their citizens, and that they do not even hide, and which they have titled “ENDGAME: Office of Detention and Removal Strategic Plan, 2003-2012"   Like the Germans under the Nazi Regime had done, the United States Military Leaders are likewise utilizing their citizen’s fears of foreigners to construct a series of Concentration Camps that by ICE’s own estimates are able to hold upwards of 15,000,000 human beings!   Where in the past the US Immigration Department authorities have detained their prisoners in various holding facilities, to include County Jails, Municipal Jails, Federal Prisons, they have embarked upon this ‘End Game Plan' which will make them the largest jailer of human beings in all of history, exceeding the capabilities of both Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia combined. To their efficient planning for the imprisonment of their people, the shocking language they use reads eerily similar to the laws of Nazi Germany, than to present day America, but as we can read for ourselves from this End Game Report, and which says; "Develop a National Custody Management Plan promoting the effective utilization of available bed space and alternative detention settings.  In response to its fiscal stakeholders, DRO will develop a national custody management plan to ensure that the facility use is standard throughout the country and that bed space use is optimized for cost efficiency."To the sweeping powers over the American people of this Secret Police Organization we can also read the description of their assigned duties, "Investigating threats, crimes and administrative violations; Deterring, interdicting, and removing threats; and policing and securing federal facilities; Provide air and marine support to minimize the damage, and assist in the recover from terrorist attacks." As to who these ‘threats’ are that these ICE Secret Police Forces will ‘remove’ should not come as a surprise to these Americans as their own President has already stated that those who do not support their Global War on Terrorism are themselves terrorists.  As history has all too often shown, the Leaders of Fascist Nations are never more popular to the masses than when they shout of war and protecting the ‘Homeland’.  And all that remains to be done by these American Military Leaders is to provide the final ‘cataclysmic event’ that will galvanize their citizens to relinquish what little remains of their freedom, and to which the plans have already been put into place, and as we can read from the NewsMax News Service in their article titled “FEMA’s Plan for Mass Destruction Attacks" and which says;"On the 19th of June 2003 FEMA posted a special bid notice for one of the agency’s largest contract awards ever, offering contracting firms 300 million US Dollars for a five-year contract to simply prepare plans to create temporary housing on a scale never before imagined, and then stand by. This is reportedly one of the largest contracts ever awarded by FEMA for a disaster preparedness program. The name of the program is entitled "Standby Technical Assistance for Disaster Related Operations." FEMA officials met with the representatives of firms seeking the bids. Approximately 100 people attended the meeting. FEMA officials made very clear that the purpose of one of the most massive undertakings in the agency’s history was to prepare for potential mass destruction attacks on American cities. Sources who attended the meeting tell News Max that most of the meeting dealt with how the firms should handle biological, chemical and nuclear disasters." Today another dark day dawns, but perhaps no where on Earth is it darker than in America, who while its children sleep, its leaders plot their total destruction.

Threat From H5N1 Virus Is Unprecedented By Steve ConnorThe Independent - UK18th of October 2005 H5N1 Avian Influenza that has arrived in Europe poses an unprecedented threat, with experts warning that the number of human infections reported in Asia could be just a small proportion of the actual figure.   One of Britain's leading specialists in influenza said a pandemic strain of bird flu that can spread between humans is more likely to arise as more birds become infected.   Sir John Skehel, a distinguished influenza expert, said that in his experience there has not been a bird flu virus quite like the H5N1 Avian Influenza strain that is affecting south-east Asia, Turkey and Romania. 'This is an unusual situation,' Sir John Skehel, admitted. 'Since we've been recording there hasn't been the spread of a single virus as widely as the H5N1 Avian Influenza.'   The World Health Organisation said that the current outbreaks of bird flu in south-east Asia are the largest and most severe on record. 'Never before in the history of this disease have so many countries been simultaneously affected, resulting in the loss of so many birds,' a WHO spokesman said.   In addition to the speed of its spread among birds, the H5N1 Avian Influenza can also infect humans and is unusually lethal, Sir John Skehel, told journalists ahead of a mission of British experts to China and Vietnam next week. Thousands of birds "migratory species as well as domestic poultry " have been infected by H5N1 Avian Influenza which is also known to have infected at least 120 people, killing half of them.   So far there have been no reports of people in Turkey or Europe being infected by the latest outbreaks but Sir John warned that the risk to Europeans has increased 'slightly'.   Sir JohnSkehel, Director of the National Institute for Medical Research NIMR in Mill Hill in North London, where the influenza virus was first isolated in 1933, said that one of the great unanswered questions was how many people are really infected with the bird flu virus.   'How are people checking in the Far East for people who have recovered from the infection?' he asked. 'Are the total number of people who have been infected the tip of the iceberg and, beneath them, are there are a lot of others who have been infected? It is an important question.'   Sir John Skehel warned that trying to predict when and where the next flu pandemic would occur was a dangerous game. 'I think it is anybody's guess,' he said. 'The more it spreads, the more it is likely to infect ... You just can't predict where the next one is coming from.'   The British delegation to China and Vietnam will investigate the measures being taken to monitor the spread of H5N1 and in particular the possibility that some people may be infected without developing serious enough symptoms to seek medical help.   They will spend 10 days looking at ways to improving collaboration with scientists in China as well as increasing the surveillance of potentially infected birds.   Sir John Skehel said: 'We want to know how the Chinese are responding, how they are looking at their birds, how they are looking at their people, how they are set up and are there ways we can help.'   Professor Colin Blakemore, Chief Executive of the Medical Research Council MRC, said announcing the decision to go to China and Vietnam was not a panic response to the latest outbreaks in Europe because the trip was arranged many weeks ago. 'Vigilance and attention without panic is what we need,' he said, adding: 'We've been planning this trip for some time.'   In a statement to MPs, Health Secretary Patricia Hewitt said 200 million pounds had been committed to fighting the illness and, as yet, there was no 'direct threat' to the British population. But she added: 'We are of course planning for the very real risk of a very significant increase in the number of hospital admissions.'

I guess I had gone to see a friend on the net we know.  My sister and a couple of my girls were there also.  The first thing I remember was waiting for the friend to come home and I began shopping for souvenirs.  My girls were showing me things to pick out.  Then I was in this friend’s house.  It was huge and had a lot of screened windows.  Suddenly he was home and we were waiting for some of his friend’s to stop by.  I guess he was trying to decide if he liked me or if he still liked his ex-girlfriend.  His friends finally came and they were all some kind of actors.  The girls were putting sparkle make-up on – they were fairies.  I remember them asking me if I liked it here and I said yes.  One of them said that the friend liked me.  The scene changed and it was nighttime.  I was outside looking up at the sky and remember remarking to this friend that I had never seen anything like that before.  There were so many stars out and it was beautiful – they were clustered all around.  The scene changed and we were walking outside.  There were all kinds of prehistoric creatures all around.  All of the creatures were so HUGE.  My friend said that all the things were big out here.  I remember being over a railroad trestle and a train came and squished one of the creatures.  The scene changed again, and I was standing on the back porch looking out the screen door – there was water all around.  I saw some people in a boat going after some kind of weird creatures in the water.  The creatures seemed half human, half fish.  The people were hunting them and putting them in the boat.  They saw me and started rowing towards the porch.  Something tried to break down the screen door (I don’t remember if it was one of those water creatures or a dog from the people).  I jumped back and heard the people ask who I was.  I told them I was a friend of the person who lived in this house, and they turned around, gathered their stuff and left.
