(Natural News) California Senior District Judge Susan Illston has dismissed a lawsuit filed by Children’s Health Defense (CHD) against Facebook, delivering another authoritarian victory to the tech giant.

CHD alleges that Facebook is in violation of the First and Fifth Amendments by “labeling CHD’s content ‘False Information,’ and taking other steps to effectively to [sic] censor or block content from users,” the ruling reads.

At issue is Facebook’s ongoing silencing of users and pages that promote content deemed to interfere with the government’s pro-vaccine agenda.

CHD, as you probably know, has been on the front lines warning parents about the dangers of childhood vaccination, and more recently about the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) “vaccines” from the government’s “Operation Warp Speed” program.

Facebook holds to the premise that all vaccines are “safe and effective,” and believes that nobody else should ever be allowed to challenge that premise with freedom of speech. Illston apparently agrees with this, as she sided with Facebook in her ruling.

“CHD does not allege that (Adam) Schiff (or anyone from the government) directed Facebook or Zuckerberg to take any specific action with regard to CHD or its Facebook page,” the ruling further explains.

“Instead, CHD alleges that Schiff pressured Facebook to remove ‘vaccine misinformation’ and later told reporters that ‘if the social media companies can’t exercise a proper standard of care when it comes to a whole variety of fraudulent or illicit content, then we have to think about whether [Section 230] immunity still makes sense.”

The CHD lawsuit pegged Adam Schiff, a California Democrat, for interfering with the First Amendment by contacting Facebook and Google directly to coerce them into censoring all “vaccine misinformation” from their platforms.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), a private corporation, also “collaborated at length with Facebook to suppress vaccine safety speech with a ‘warning label’ and other notices that appear to flag disinformation, but in reality censor valid and truthful speech, including speech critical of those agencies and their policies,” the lawsuit claims.

In Illston’s opinion, Facebook did not violate the Fifth Amendment, specifically as it pertains to the ‘takings’ clause, even though it permanently disabled the “donate” button on CHD’s Facebook page.

CHD “still needs to establish ‘sufficient government action’ to assert a ‘takings’ claim,” Illston ruled, suggesting that CHD could still do more to prove that Schiff and the corrupt deep state deprived it of “life, liberty, or property, without due process of law” by having Facebook remove CHD’s ability to communicate to its supporters and raise funding.

Founded by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., CHD has been at the forefront of the fight against dangerous and ineffective vaccines. On its website, the group explains that:

“… vaccines can and do cause injuries including autism and many other adverse health outcomes, as well as claiming that 5G technology ‘poses health risks, encourages debris-generating satellite collisions, causes depletion of the ozone layer by the huge number of launches and is a major factor in the weaponization of space.”

Border Patrol agents have arrested 353 illegal aliens with sex-related criminal convictions so far this fiscal year. A large number of the detainees had prior convictions for crimes involving a minor.

In the same period in fiscal 2020, agents apprehended 55 criminal sex offenders, and 58 total in all of fiscal 2019.

The number of criminals illegally crossing the southwest border has spiked in tandem with the border crossing surge this year. Convicted criminals are the most likely population of illegal aliens trying to avoid capture by Border Patrol.

Border Patrol has detected more than 250,000 illegal aliens who have evaded capture so far this year, according to the newly-appointed Acting Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz on June 24. It’s impossible to estimate how many have evaded Border Patrol without detection.

“There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t read a paper or a report from my agents that talks about criminal aliens, sexual offenders that they’ve apprehended out there,” Ortiz said during an event in Del Rio, Texas.

“Those folks aren’t getting released in these communities. Guess what happens to them? They go to jail. When they get out of jail, they go back to their country of origin.”

According to reports by Customs and Border Protection (CBP), many of the criminals being caught have already been deported, sometimes on multiple occasions.

On June 24, agents in Rio Grande City, Texas, arrested convicted sex offender, Benito Gomez-Lopez, from Mexico. Gomez-Lopez was arrested in May 2020 by the Burleigh County Sheriff’s Department in North Dakota for possession of certain prohibited materials and promoting a sexual performance by a minor, according to CBP.

He pleaded guilty to both counts and was sentenced to three years confinement, but was repatriated to Mexico in July 2020.

On June 14, a Peruvian child rapist was arrested by Border Patrol after he entered the United States illegally near Roma, Texas, according to CBP. Pedro Asuncion ORE-Quispe, 43, had been deported in 2020 after serving over five years for felony rape of a child in Idaho.

On June 20, Mexican national Isidro Efrain Gallardo-Rangel was apprehended as part of a group of 24 illegal aliens near Laredo. Gallardo-Rangel is a registered sex offender with an extensive criminal history and a conviction for indecency with a child in 2018 in Dallas, Texas, according to CBP.

Once a relatively quiet region for illegal border crossings, the Del Rio Sector in Texas is now the second busiest, after the Rio Grande Valley in south Texas.

“We’ve seen a tremendous increase. So far this year, this fiscal year, today, we’ve caught 144,000 people in the Del Rio sector,” said sector chief Austin Skero on June 24.

“We’ve gone through this before—we’ve seen these increases, these surges, for the last 30 or 40 years. It’s never been this bad. I’ll tell you that straight up, I’ve never seen it this bad.”

Skero said the sector has seen a 1,400 percent increase in the number of sex offenders arrested by Border Patrol agents.

A Del Rio resident said that prior to January he had seen two illegal aliens pass through his backyard.

Now, he said, it’s hundreds a day.

“I have four daughters—does it concern me when you say there’s a 1,400 percent increase in sex offenders? Yes, it concerns me,” the resident said during a border update on June 24.

“I’m concerned about the single men who are running through my backyard, sneaking. And I’m about a 50 percent  success rate on whether or not I get an agent to come out to my place when I call. And when they do, it’s awesome, they bring helicopters, they bring support.

“Otherwise, I’m sitting there unarmed and there’s a guy soaking wet in my backyard screaming at me in Spanish. I don’t know what to do with this guy.”

The resident asked Border Patrol if they could provide some type of training to citizens to prepare them for such encounters.

Skero suggested for residents to not engage with illegal aliens who are on their property and to call Border Patrol.

“We’re going to come just as soon as we can. Sometimes it will be immediate, sometimes it might take us an hour.”

But, he said, if an illegal immigrant is endangering a resident’s family, or is being assaultive, call 911.

At the behest of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) started surging extra law enforcement resources to the border beginning in March.

In the three months from March 4 through June 3, DPS has arrested 1,489 criminals.

In addition, State Troopers have been involved in 340 vehicle pursuits along the border and have dealt with 630 vehicle bailouts. A bailout occurs when a vehicle being pulled by law enforcement stops and the illegal immigrant occupants scatter and flee to avoid capture.

Abbott issued a state of disaster declaration on June 10, highlighting 34 border counties that are struggling with cross-border crime and illegal immigration.

“We’re going to start making arrests, sending a message to anyone thinking about coming here: You’re not getting a free pass. You’re getting a straight pass to a jail cell,” Abbott said.

Last week a prison unit in Dilley, Texas, was being emptied in preparation for illegal alien criminals.

Abbott and Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey also issued a call for help to other governors on June 10.

“With your help, we can apprehend more of these perpetrators of state and federal crimes, before they can cause problems in your state,” Abbott and Ducey, both Republicans, wrote in a letter.

So far, several Republican governors have pledged support by way of sending law enforcement personnel or National Guard troops.

(Natural News) The New York Times conducted a lab analysis on fast-food chain Subway’s “tuna” sandwiches and wraps, which suggests that none of them contain even a trace of actual tuna.

Almost unbelievably, what Subway is passing off as “tuna” could actually be “a mixture of various concoctions,” according to The Washington Post.

The chain is now being sued for false advertising and the selling of unknown products after scientists determined “no amplifiable tuna DNA was present in the sample.”

Because there were no amplification products able to be obtained from the DNA, the scientists declared that they “cannot identify the species” of whatever it is that Subway is trying to pass off as “tuna.”

Using the same type of PCR test that was pushed all last year as a way to identify the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) in humans, scientists looked for one of five varying tuna species, explaining that there are 15 species of fish that can legally be labeled as tuna.

The Food and Drug Administration‘s (FDA) “Seafood List” outlines this with more clarity.

There are only two options, the scientists revealed, for why tuna could not be detected in Subway’s sandwich or wrap samples.

“One: It’s so heavily processed that whatever we could pull out, we couldn’t make an identification,” they said.

“Or, we got some and there’s just nothing there that’s tuna.”

Is Subway selling its customers mystery meat?
When tuna is cooked, the experts say, its proteins break down making it harder to identify. So, it could be that Subway’s tuna sandwiches and wraps do contain some tuna, albeit of the denatured variety.

On the other hand, it could be that Subway is selling something other than tuna as if it was “tuna,” deceiving customers and exposing them to some strange substance that looks and maybe tastes a little bit like tuna.

The food fraud investigation comes on the heels of a complaint filed with the U.S. District Court of the Northern District of California alleging that Subway is tricking customers “into buying food items that wholly lack the ingredients they reasonably thought they were purchasing.”

That lawsuit, filed back in January, prompted a response from Subway, which says there is “no truth to the allegations in the complaint.”

At that time, Subway also affirmed that it “delivers 100% cooked tuna to its restaurants.”

“Multiple samples” collected from Subway’s “tuna” sandwiches have been analyzed at this point. However, while the mixture appears to be tuna, the fish simply cannot be found.

“Tuna is one of our most popular sandwiches,” claims Katia Noll, Subway’s senior director for global food safety and quality. “Our restaurants receive pure tuna, mix it with mayonnaise, and serve on a freshly made sandwich to our guests.”

Back in 2014, Subway made global headlines for announcing the removal of azodiacarbonamide, a toxic chemical also used in yoga mats, that was determined to cause cancer.

There have also been controversies with other fast-food chains regarding their use of other toxic chemicals in packaging that are linked to cancer and other chronic health problems.

“Why is this difficult? The lab says that protein in tuna is broken down during cooking, leaving them unable to identify it,” wrote one commenter at Fox Business, confused about why there is a controversy involving tuna.

“Okay, so if the cooking process makes it undefinable, then how hard is it to follow the supply chain back to the pre-cooking supplier and check the FDA / USDA records? This should not be difficult.”

(Natural News) On Friday, June 26, the Texas Supreme Court ruled that Facebook can be held liable for sex traffickers using the platform to prey on children.

The court ruled that Facebook is not a “lawless no man’s land” and could be held liable for benefiting from human trafficking. The court’s ruling was prompted by three lawsuits against the social media giant that involved teenage sex traffic victims who met their abusers through Facebook’s messaging functions. Facebook is being sued for negligence and product liability in Texas. Prosecutors argue the tech giant failed to warn its users about or block sex trafficking from taking place. The company’s legal team argued that the social media platform was protected against liability due to Section 230 of the 1996 Communications Decency Act (CDA).

Section 230 protects websites from being taken to court for any potentially illegal content posted by their users. But there are exceptions for copyright violations, sex and prostitution-related material and violations of federal criminal law.

The Texas Supreme Court’s majority opinion states: “We do not understand section 230 to ‘create a lawless no man’s land on the internet” in which states are powerless to impose liability on websites that knowingly or intentionally participate in the evil of online human trafficking.”

“Holding internet platforms accountable for the words or actions of their users is one thing, and the federal precedent uniformly dictates that section 230 does not allow it,” the court’s opinion said. “Holding internet platforms accountable for their own misdeeds is quite another thing. This is particularly the case for human trafficking.”

The Texas Supreme Court noted that Congress had recently amended Section 230 of the CDA to allow the possibility of civil liability for platforms that violate state and federal human trafficking laws.

Ruling can lead to other businesses being held accountable for benefiting from trafficking
Annie McAdams, a personal injury lawyer based in Houston, said the court’s decision was unprecedented. She was the lead attorney for the families of several victims of sex trafficking who brought a case against Facebook in the state.

“Our clients have fought for over two years for the chance to bring their case,” said McAdams. “While we have a long road ahead, we are grateful that the Texas Supreme Court will allow these courageous trafficking survivors to have their day in court against Facebook.”

McAdams added that she hopes Chapter 98 of the Texas Civil Practices and Remedies Code can help other sex trafficking victims and survivors in the state hold businesses like Facebook accountable for benefiting from their exploitation.

Chapter 98 argues that a defendant that either engages in or intentionally or knowingly benefits from human trafficking is liable to the victims “for damages arising from the trafficking of that person by the defendant or venture.”

The three lawsuits against Facebook alleged that the social media platform enabled sex traffickers to target minors. The victims were all from the Houston metropolitan area. They were 13, 14 and 16 when sex traffickers preyed upon them through Facebook’s messaging service.

Sex traffickers allegedly enticed their victims with “false promises of love and a better future,” including lies about modeling jobs that did not exist.

“One of the cases involving a 14-year-old from Spring, recounts how the girl was recruited, groomed and sold in 2018 by a man she met on Instagram,” reported the Houston Chronicle in April. “The trafficker beat her and sold her for commercial sex for three weeks… The child has undergone intensive therapy in the years since.”

In a statement, a Facebook spokesman said the company was reviewing the Texas Supreme Court’s decision and considering its next steps.

“Sex trafficking is abhorrent and now allowed on Facebook,” said the spokesman. “We will continue our fight against the spread of this content and the predators who engage in it.”
