Yes, you can call me that...it's in the blood
You missed your calling, comedian...:D
Were you always this funny?
If you're saying that you write or wrote essays on art?
I had a very good Russian (Riga, I know it's Latvia) film professor...
I also remember reading alot of Miguel de Unamuno and enjoyed it...

I totally agree with you GWSOL.I don't believe we've seen the true face of them either ,nor do I believe they are here to create a better world. It's all about them and who or whatever they serve.

I wrote, many years ago.

Well, why you all consider me to being a Russian? I don't remember that I ever said I am the one. I had in my profile option Sankt Petersburg, but that was only because I investigated and explored my possible Russian connections (Romanov). And those showed to be non-existent. I have at the moment Yerevan in the profile, because I am researching this particular part of the world.
But I was born in the Former Yugoslavia, which is now Croatia, and it always was. During my grandfather's lifetime the state was changed four times (first old Yugoslavia, then the Independent Croatia - German sponsored state, then again new socialist Yugoslavia, and finally Croatia.
My great-grandfather's state changed the name also four time, starting with Austro-Hungary and finishing it with the Socialist Yugoslavia.
Though, I am born in Croatia, my family is of the Jewish origins, who I resemble the most. They are both Ashkenazi Jews from Germany, and Sephards from Spain.
That is particularly why I am obssesed so much with my family origins, because of so much political turmoils, it was very important to know your true indetity. Every time when the state was changed from one to another, the ruling governmnet issued new version of history including also origins of the people.
As the consequence of this people as Croats or Bulgars are considered to be Slavs, though, nothing could be further from the truth.

You mentioned you liked his poetry, and then erased it. Well, I also like poetry, and I write some of that, for fun.
He was Ok, I like him. Though, some of my favourites are such as Byron or E. A. Poe.
And many others.
There was a member on this site, Monica, who also wrote beautiful poetry.

Those are few my short examples, I was inspired by some girl singer
Dance with me
Dance with me
Dance with me tonight
as there will be no tomorrow
Dance with me in the
joy of life now
Dance with me in the
rhythm of love forever
Dance with me
Just dance with me
In the rhythm of music
of love
In the rhythm of music
of life
But just dance with me
Just dance now
as there will be
no tomorrow.
Sorrow
In the night of darkness
In the night of lost souls
I remember the time of past
That you and me spent together
Together as the soul
Joined in one night
To be separated for a life
But a life without you
Is no life, but sorrow
Sorrow I feel in my heart
Where once I felt being with you
